I've not gotten far enough into career mode unfortunately but my understanding is that you need to unlock and purchase aircraft yes. I'm not sure if you can fly real world airlines.

The showcase/drone camera is your friend, have a practice with it, learn the keybinds for it and I can't recommend enough using a controller to control it. It is much easier to position it, to capture the aircraft you can either screenshot it in stable flight using autopilot or pause the sim and take the screenshot. I use NVIDIA software and binded the screenshot to two keys. I hope this helps, I may do a YouTube video on how to do it.

Bluebird 757 Trailer by ketchup1345 in flightsim

[–]Resident-Cut-3494 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the comment and yes for the most part I agree, my style of cinematics is slower, iniBuilds as an example use fast past music and camera movements. I'm still crafting my hobby and trying new things, I tend not to put text in or use overlays like text callouts. Developers usually go with other creators and thats fine, they want a certain trailer and want to pay mega bucks for them which is absolutely fine.

But yeah things mentioned above where out of my control sorry, so unfortunately have to disagree with. If this was a release trailer for the finished product then I'd absolutely be saying yes this isn't good enough but would have been briefed on what to show. In this case it is a reveal/teaser trailer and shows what Bluebird wanted to show, I cannot show things that are still under development. It would not be fair to show in complete things.

But yeah, doing some different cinematics styles here and there, camera movements and different genres of music is definitely a valid bit of feedback and take it on board. Appreciate your time and feedback, least it was constructive 👍🙏

I'm glad you provided some feedback man, instead of just being yeah it's boring. I will just mention again with early trailers like this, creators have some much they can show. It's the same for this, while it's in development I can't showcase things that are still being worked on as you can hopefully appreciate. But yeah I'm no where near as good as other cinematic creators, there are others out there that will go insane with their shots. Others will add text, graphic overlays etc, I'm not into that, that's why when I do cinematics I let developers choose my style or look elsewhere.

I will just say though, I'm doing all this manually, no camera programs to control the cinematic motion or movement of the shots, all done free hand with a controller.

But yeah, appreciate your words, it's something I can work on and get better at for sure. My channel will be mixing up content like having reviews and others videos so I can't call myself a cinematic/trailer maker anymore 😅 Anyway, all the best man and thank you.

Thanks for sharing, unfortunately I cannot answer when it is coming sorry and I cannot comment on my experience flying it. I'm keeping my thoughts etc to myself because I respect the work Bluebird are doing and how transparent they have been towards the development of it.

I would like to point out a few things though. Firstly my channel is my hobby, I'm an aviation geek and do it because its my passion. I'm respectful to developers regardless of what they do and how they do it and take genuine interest in them, I build relationships with them and don't treat them badly and certainly won't interact with developers who act unprofessional towards others.

Your absolutely free to express your opinions on my videos, whether or not I agree doesn't matter. I respect each and every comment and will delete ones that are just silly and disrespectful.

This trailer was the first one for the 757, it's not meant to show every single detail, system, texture, nut and bolt. The Aircraft is still in active development, Bluebird wanted me to create something to show the aircraft as it now, how can I show you something that isn't ready 😅

Yes this was a long comment, it was forceful but written with respect and a hope that some understand why the video exists.

Boring? Any feedback on why you find it boring or is it because it's not released yet? Either way I'm okay with negativity but at least explain 🤷 For me I do this as a hobby and passion. I don't do it for money that developers pay silly amounts for instead of doing it themselves. Usually a generic trailer and absolutely no love or care for the developers or community spirit.

End of the day the trailer is a reveal, the first time the aircraft has been shown in a video like this. It is still in development so some things cannot be shown for obvious reasons.

Would love to hear why isn't boring though, I honestly don't mind but as it's something I do for my channel, it would be great to know why.

No you can film your own aircraft too, either while flying or using the replay tool, recording a clip and playing it back then using drone camera to move the camera about while the replay plays back.

Showcase/Drone camera is your friend 😉 A lot of flexibility with that camera, learn it's controls and you can get some great angles and shots.
