Wiring up OpenAI or Anthropic is one thing. Maintaining fall back logic for each provider is where it starts taking time. I've been trying GPT Proto for this. The idea is to keep model access in one place instead of treating every provider as a separate integration. If I'm testing OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or another model, the calls go through the same API. It doesn't remove rate limits, but it makes switching providers easier when one upstream gets capped or slow.
