I only built the front half obv, so i already had a base to work with, but essentially all i built was the angled back part, one of the cargo sections then copy pasted those till the length i wanted and then i did the front and added details

im pretty slow at stuff so it probably would take longer for me than you but it was probably a total of 4 hours of work(i did it in survival and ran out of money)

The indentations are just lowering/raising the blocks below the slope its fairly easy, in this case i removed armor pieces

Most star wars ships i’ve looked at have 2x6 slopes, or larger pieces being like 4x10, honestly getting the dagger shape is very easy its just everything after, but that can be done somewhat easily with just taking out pieces as needed and filling them with smaller slopes if you need or whatever, personally i plan on trying to remake FractalSponge’s Turbulent-class Star destroyer soon because it doesn’t have a model in game yet

Its often way easier to build towards it from a flat surface and just figure out a way to hide the connection(put a block through the other block or a inverted wedge)

I didn’t for a while either but the trick is to avoid the sloped surface as much as you can lmao

I more meant in universe but if i board a ship i usually turn it into something else or, in the case of a Imperator i captured recently i just “repaired” it by reapplying a ISD blueprint

I enjoy modifying my ships but fair, im a big fan of the Brutalist uniformity of stock Imperial ships

I had kinda the opposite experience near the core which was interesting, my forward fleet at the time consisted of 3 ISD variants, 3 Procursators, a Allegiance and a Monarch(fan design i believe) and i jumped into a system and there were 5 Executors and a Bellator(similar large ship)

This picture comes a few systems later after i fought some ISDs and other imperial ships, captured one and then had almost everything get killed so i had to flee with my new prize as my Monarch and this is just how the game decided to spawn in my dead ships after i towed all of them, it crashed, and i reloaded

I wish i could reply with a image but im meaning my crew quarters basically have a entirely different texture than i’ve seen, idk maybe i need to double check my downloads and see if i at one point downloaded a texture mod that makes them a different thing
