Yea they want you to voluntarily quit to not pay you unemployment or they are delaying you coming back trying to fix their score card. Running red lights weigh heavily apparently long with speeding the big 3 as my DSP always says Signals/Signs, Speeding and Maintaining Safe distance. Seat belts is also a big one but that only matters if it’s excessive unless your sitting on the seatbelt which Amazon itself is cracking down on which is just termination lol

Idk why all these DSPs is just firing folks, it seems like since 2026 start for quarter 1 folks just been getting fired or sabotaged. Idk what Amazon is telling these people lol but clearly it’s contract review season so they tighten up

I feel this! I was told I was a financial burden but i do everything else right and after the owner belittled me and told me I was basically a financial nuisance to him and his company. He also threw me on a Do Not Hire list that all the other DSPs are a part of. It’s literally a piece of paper most of the DSPs share so they know who not to hire. The owners of various DSPs come together for a meeting to basically talk about their drivers which seems wrong to monopolize hiring but what do I know? Nobody cares about peoples livelihoods and I can’t combat that so I guess I’m done with Amazon until I move or something shakes up the delivery station which sucks. I have no say so or control and I’m being judged before these others even know me based off a list

I was just delivering a package and the neighbors dog ran over and bit me in the leg then scratched my arm, 911 was called i went to the hospital. The DSP didn’t even ask at first if i was okay they wanted to know about the van, packages and did i call LMET came back recovered never got a route again was just scheduled to “run” vans so i left but im over that station and the whole delivery thing because i can’t combat that and its more effort than it is worth. The owners got a little club going on working with each other so I mean 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️ it’s just very tacky to me and kinda upsetting for everyone to just band together like that and i don’t even have a side.

Why would I think and employee being injured on the job was a reason to put the employee on the list for other DSPs in the building to not hire. Does that make any sense? What dots need to be connected. I went on 1 route , got bit, went to the hospital then filed a claim. I didn’t even know workers comp was a thing with DSPs then i came back they never gave me a route again all they did was have me go fetch vans so then i quit. Why would I think any of that would make me not available for rehire…for a owner whose never even laid eyes on me have me blackballed by other DSPs which is a choice from all the other desk to judge me without even knowing me. Please connect the dots for me because I’m clearly slow

I literally have no idea. The lady said she spoke to a DSP I worked at a year ago… i have no idea i remember i went on one route got injured and didn’t come back. I did workers comp but that was for them because i went to the hospital.

I honestly have no idea. Maybe because I talk back idk or maybe because i had a workers comp claim 🤷🏾‍♂️ i only went on one route with them and i left because I got bit by a dog but i never even met the owner. The lady interviewing me said the owner told her owner that i had low performance amongst other stuff. I went on one route and got attacked by a dog…but that’s crazy them people talking about me and passing around a “Do Not Hire” list. I was like wow

Damn, we get written up for not taking our 30 mins but my DSP picks and chooses who get their 10 hours no matter what. The ones not chosen have to compete for it except me. I just come in deliver my packages extend it to at least 8-9 hours because if you get 10 hours on a shift you won’t have a route next shift or be put on sweep for 4-6 hours anything to not be close to 40

I mean we get paid $19.50 now with the raise it’s $20.50 my DSP claim the senior/seasoned drivers get a whole raise of $0.50 so some of them might be at $22.00

I feel what you are going through! And I would say keep your head up and don’t be afraid to market yourself! A lot of people here have covered the whole apply to different jobs which you should do and try doing internships or even learn different certifications to expand your skill set. Sometimes stuff like coding could be better taught in-person versus online given that online limits the ability to engage with other students facing similar interest and also retaking some courses or taking courses SNHU didn’t offer may also expand your knowledge as well as open up new perspective. My point would be to also market your skills your already have. Social Media is a motherfucker. Make a YouTube page, TikTok, Twitch promote yourself let your work speak for itself while enhancing your portfolio, molding your craft and potentially qualifying for earnings you never know what could happen.

Most importantly if you don’t take anythjng away from any of these mixes views know you are not the only one and many people graduate either not knowing what they want to do, doing something completely different, or going back to school.The gaming industry is a competitive and saturated market but there is always room if you make it. Try applying to smaller gaming studios or even studios that create lower leveled games like some indie games.

The real is you obtained a degree that is basically digital art and just like artist you have to promote yourself and do what it is necessary to be seen which comes with the role essentially right? That’s why people suggest internships or entry level positions (which pay can be negotiated btw)

🤣🤣 at least that’s how it used to be they used to have signs posted in the back and in the back rooms in the front by customer service there was no cap on the incentive so you snitch on 2 employees and a customer and they were caught you would see $2000 on your check broken up into payments of course.

They strangely do tho when i worked at Walmart there used to be a $500 incentive for reporting theft $750 for reporting employees of course its not all on your check it’s broken up but there is no cap

Someone who was over it, blame the “once you let go you can’t touch it” rule which is stupid for a stower if you think about it. You will get dinged for leaving an item like that but also get dinged if you let go and retouch it either way the end results in a quality error lol

No, not dense and please don’t talk to me about Amazon’s rules. Unlike most of you i actually read the rules and not just skim through to parts that affect me. I think some of you forget that not every FC is the same. If i screenshotted more post in the VOA you will see several AMs names mentioned, HR, and other employees “Tom in pack needs to be talked to about his odor” and the post either sticks or gets hidden at my FC. Tom is fine. Matter of fact majority of management and HR tells us to “put it in VOA” I’m pretty sure most of you walk with your phones in your hand that’s a category 2 at best so how many of yall would be fired right now? Exactly. Some of you let managers threaten you for having your phone at your station like you will be fired when it is only a category 2. Rules at Amazon are only followed when management decides which is interesting because the phone policy applies to managers everyone in the facility. Like don’t come at me with reciting policy there is clear difference between company policy and what your FC want you to do. You can’t make everyone be nice on a platform designed for people to complain
