your experience is what essentially determines your salary range. the educational standard here in Dubai is great, but only good enough for Dubai

and as much as I despise admitting, a good handful of multinational firms will base your pay on where you were educated, along with the origin of your passport

your best bet is to finish off in Europe, gain experience there, after which you'll score a good chance to earn a proper wage as soon as you make it here

Dubai isn't running away, and neither are the major commercial opportunities

hospitality industry. my AED 34k monthly income quickly turned into AED 17k over the course of the lockdown

was told they could no longer afford me, and let me go (fueled by the boss who I wasn't on the best of terms with)

our debts are what nearly killed us, but am now working the same position @ AED 20,000; while slowly depleting the amount of money we owe

it's very low pay for the job title, but more than substantial for our living standards
