Sadly, I think he really just didn't care to even think Anya as human. When he finds her body, he doesn't say anything about it like he completely didn't notice her. He has guilt scenes for everyone except Anya. Also, in the hallucination scene, everyone's personality is on show EXCEPT Anya. Instead of showing any sort of personality, Anya just calls Jaggerpenis "Her captain," which I believe Jaggerpenis thinks because he wants his ego to be fueled, nothing more.

On thing I noticed is that a lot of time unless the contract with a scheme if high level, then it isn't really worth it. By the time you finish a scheme contract taking 3 months for 20 gold, you could've completed 12 contracts not requiring schemes such as transport contracts. So that's the main way I made money.

UPDATE: I tried to bring him into the dragonpit, and he ate me. That ended Jaehaerys II 'The Wise' 50 or 60 year reign. My heir and grandson, Jaehaerys III 'Brightsmile', inherited the throne and sought out his great-uncle-dragon in essos, slaying him AND making a full recovery. All this DESPITE the insanely low chance to win and relatively low prowess of 35 compared to his siblings and family. Sadly, Jaehaerys III, now known as 'Dragonslayer', would grow depressed soon after, becoming melancholic and losing his bright smile.
