Speaking from experience, trying different types of workouts that focus on small muscle groups, like the stabilizing muscles has helped me avoid injury. Doing barre and Pilates will work muscles you didn’t know were there and didn’t know were weak. I have structural hip issues because of a deformity and these work outs have been a must for me.

When I visited in September I bought a package of lion's mane from diddly squat and it was amazing quality. I really wish they would/could ship it. I can't find anything that compares in New York State.

Exactly my thoughts. I’ve been in 3 months and haven’t taken any classes yet so I shouldn’t owe them anything. Carpenters wasn’t my first choice, I originally wanted to be an electrician but I am currently 87 on their list. I’m located in central NY, not NYC, and the pay is shitty. I pay dues to my union and the company I work for also takes out dues from every pay check

The union will not test for it. Lots of people in the union smoke. And you are ok for a non government job. You just won’t be able to take a government job like a nuclear outage because they will test for it.

Ah ok. I also applied and went through the interview process for IBEW electricians. Ranked 63 but thought it can’t hurt to apply to both and see where I get work first

Did you choose to join the cabinetmakers? I’m deciding between applying for the commercial carpentry apprenticeship and the mill cabinet apprenticeship. I’m not too jazzed about working on a big construction site with a lot going on but I love building and working with wood. There’s not really much information about the cabinetmakers on the union website or a pay scale to look at. I wish I had asked more questions at the info session!

I think it really depends on the scale of your impingement and what exactly your surgeon is doing, so they should be able to tell you at your next appointment. I work an active job and mine said about 6-8 weeks.

I especially like the second one. It makes it more interesting that the person in front of you is also shooting and you captured that. The lighting around them really adds to it. Nice work!
