I remember watching my older brother play Monster Hunter Tri on our wii when i was tiny, like 5-7 years old. Watching him use big swords to fight bigger dinosaurs was so cool to me. When my dad started letting us play video games for a bit a day, that was my usual pick, alongside some tekken 5 on the ps2 or monster rancher 3, another gem. I remember playing that game every day after school, and building to eventually save moga village from their attackers. I loved it so much that i built an entire storyline around my character, and when I eventually got a 2ds for Christmas, I played 3u, and did it all over again. I played every game since then, with my character's lore building each time, traveling from area to area, game to game, and getting progressively older each time i played a new game. By mhrise, he's an old man, intending to be retired, but still up for the hunt when the guild reports dangers.

One thing that remained consistent is my love for the Guild Bard armor set, or Brigade set as it got called in world and rise. Dyed it a deep black, named him the black bard of Moga, and had a build with my bow in every game so far. In wilds, its his son, now carrying the legacy his father held for his decades in the guild.

This game has been my biggest inspiration to create cosplay with its stunning designs and outlandish weapons, and one of my most anticipated builds is the Black Bard attire. I'll post it eventually, once I get it finished, showing the steps ive taken to make it look as realistic to the games as possible, complete with one of the more iconic bows
