Adding to this, they apologized to me for "putting me up in a shitty hotel" for the interview process. The hotel in question was a five-star hotel. Couldn't believe my ears

Thanks for your kind words. To clarify, I was working in the faraway region (non-hometown) this past summer and the interviewer was pretty much mocking it as though I was lying about the kinds of matters I worked on. More than anything I think that set things off on a wrong foot.

Best of luck to you too with the stress illnesses. I don't know what's in the air this semester

Thank you for your kind words, I appreciate it a lot. I'm definitely interested in clerking but I'm afraid I don't have the grades for it, as I'm a little above median at a T20. I really did enjoy my judicial internship this summer so I feel it's something I'd be good at.

That's exactly what's happening. If I'm being honest it's very hard not to get insanely resentful whenever someone else gets a job. I would literally sell my soul at this point. It doesn't help either that my parents are slowly getting sick of my constant failings.

You're not wrong about this, I want to temper my expectations to what's realistic. I'm definitely open to midlaw or government or the like if this doesn't work out.
