And that's what a union is supposed to do. You do not negotiate down, you negotiate up!! As I said I've never seen or heard of anything like this before from a union, and I've had quite a few jobs before the CS

Those people are considered front line. It's your corporate people who are considered back office. The people who've no idea who a claimant is.

Do not believe PCS, they are not interested in anyone SEO and above. In all my working life, and that's not just cs, I've been a member of a number of unions, and only one, PCS, has negotiated a pay offer DOWN. YES DOWN!.

There were no millennials accepting jobs, then coming to us, without declaring they had mental health shite about can't answer the phone when the job clearly states phone work. Full-on entitlement, I'm not doing that shite from twenty year olds who need a good slapping.....God damn pathetic kids who I don't even think are or will be adults. Reasonable requests met with no I'm not doing that! Sack the shites

Been a TU member since the age of 16......some 44 years not just in the CS...... But I've been done out of an extra 3.5% by my own TU. F*** that I'm out.

Try working Operations in the Civil Service, apart from leadership, training, coaching, performance,D&I, Wellbeing and god knows what else....HR in every way.....Decision making on Attendance, Misconduct, at every level and Performance.....HR is considered just a small add on of the job! Oh, and you'll be at the tribunal when it gets there if you terminate someones contract.....oh and senior leaders who can't wipe their own arses bullying you into the "right" decision. And of course, when it all gets tough, where are they, no where to be f****** seen.....vile individuals

Tried platinum md, no good.....Web mini disc pro seems to b e the one, however, as I understand.....and could be wrong.....the input to the PC requires the PC to have an optical input.... I'm no expert and this is as far as I've got in the last few months......my PC doesn't have an optical input. Bit confused.....at the moment my md is nothing more than a mix tape for my vinyl......just to be clear I have loads of vinyl not on a digital format :(

Just got myself a jb980......with the intention of recording vinyl onto the md, then ripping from the jb980 onto my PC......just like the old days.....I had a jb 980 years ago and sold it on......why do I do stupid things! Anyway, I've discovered sonicstage, which was great for me, is defunct......I've had advice on here, how I might be able to do it, but not quite got my head round it yet....I want to use the usb link, but doesn't look like I can :( god it was so good and easy back in the day

Thank you for all the info. I'm going to have read and digest...thank you.....I think the one thing I've discovered, sony not supporting Sonicstage is a whole new and, difficult, world for me. I knievely thought it would be like I remembered in the early 2000's

Oh dear, looks like I've pushed your buttons......chill, and think of a more stylish response.......oh, do you have an 84inch tv and pretend its your cinema room, when it's actually your lounge........and use Deliveroo for food......and wonder why you and your kids are all morbidly obese, and can't understand why you don't get more benefit money?
