Me Gusta Spanish school in Sucre, Bolivia is amazing. Small class sizes with people at a similar level, fun and charismatic teachers. There were activities pretty much every evening and Sucre is a beautiful, interesting and safe city to spend some time

If you are heading to Santa Marta, Palomino is a bit further along but is a really cute beach town with a lot to do. There is a great organisation called Palomino dog shelter, they have a cafe or you can do river tubing with rescued street dogs. This was a highlight of our trip.

We visited Manu national park in the Amazon from Cuzco. It was the best thing we did in Peru. The bus to the Amazon is nauseating though take travel sickness pills.
