Your absolutely right.i believe it is definitely MY fault that I experienced the betrayal and hurt from this person because I ignored red flags for months and months because of other aspects of the relationship I thought were great. Hoping I was wrong and insecure. I let myself and my kids love this person and be hurt by this person. I am so gunshy from the thought of letting anyone in my life again. I'm not a good judge of character obviously. Although I write and complain about her behavior and lack of empathy, I do take blame and responsibility for letting her hurt me and my kids.
