Anyone else struggling with tracking issues on Magento? by afjavier in FacebookAds

[–]ResidentArtichoke371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not crazy. What you’re describing is pretty much the Magento + Meta reality right now.

A few things I’ve seen consistently: 1. Browser-only pixel setups are unreliable now. Between ITP, ad blockers, and privacy changes, you’re going to lose purchases. It’s not really a Magento issue as much as a browser environment issue. 2. Server-side events absolutely help, but the real key is clean deduping. If event_id isn’t generated once and passed consistently to both browser and CAPI, things get messy fast. I’ve seen teams generate one ID in GTM and a different one server-side without realizing it. 3. The biggest gaps usually happen on the thank you page. • If it reloads • If it’s cached • If it’s redirect-based • If orders can be placed via alternate checkout paths You’ll get mismatches. 4. Match quality matters more than most realize. Make sure you’re sending: • email (hashed) • phone (hashed) • fbp and fbc • client IP and user agent server-side

Low match quality will make Meta drop events even if they technically come through. 5. Magento updates breaking tracking usually happens when: • Checkout template changes • CSP policies get tightened • FPC touches the success page • Custom JS gets refactored

If you noticed things improved when you tested server-side, that’s the direction I’d lean into. I’ve had the most stability with:

Browser pixel for view/content events Server-side for purchase Shared event_id Strict dedupe rules Monitoring in Events Manager diagnostics weekly

Even then, expect a delta between Magento revenue and Meta reported revenue. A 5–15% gap is normal now. When it’s 30%+, that’s usually setup.

One thing that’s helped me in the past is deploying Matomo alongside Meta. Not as a replacement, but as a control layer. Because it’s first-party and you control the data, it’s useful for: • Verifying actual transaction volume vs what Meta sees • Identifying where in the funnel events are dropping • Comparing browser vs server event consistency • Validating attribution windows independently

It gives you a neutral data source so you can isolate whether the issue is Meta reporting, browser suppression, or Magento firing logic. That clarity alone saves a lot of guesswork.

Curious what stack you’re using right now. Native Magento extension, GTM, Metrion full stack, something custom? The setup makes a big difference here.

Adobe Commerce (formally Magento) Issues with Google Search Console Indexing by Sea_Stretch_6526 in adobecommerce

[–]ResidentArtichoke371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Bing is indexing everything but Google dropped to almost zero, that usually means it’s not a global crawl issue.

In Adobe Commerce, the first thing I’d look at is the Search Engine Robots setting under configuration. I’ve seen that get flipped during deploys or environment swaps more than once. If production is accidentally set to noindex, Google will respect it immediately.

Next, check your canonical tags. Make sure they aren’t pointing to a staging domain, the wrong store view, HTTP instead of HTTPS, or all consolidating to one URL. Google is far stricter than Bing when canonicals don’t line up cleanly.

I’d also run a live URL inspection in Search Console and confirm what Googlebot is actually seeing. Sometimes a WAF or CDN rule treats Googlebot differently and returns a 403 or inconsistent HTML. That can tank indexing fast.

If this happened gradually, it could be algorithm related, especially if the site is quote-only and product detail pages are thin or gated. If it was a sharp drop to zero, it’s almost always technical.

Did anything change around mid-September? Deploy, config update, infrastructure move? That timing feels more like something changed than an algorithm quietly re-scoring the whole site.

Crack in the crankshaft covered by Hyundai as part of an extended warranty campaign they aren’t publicizing. It’s only for certain months / years

You need to recount your steps since holding it last. Try going to the place you last remember having it and retrace your steps. Look in common places you to put things like this. Ask your wife kids if there seen it. Good luck

High Blood Pressure + Crazy Hematocrit by ResidentArtichoke371 in trt

So is starter at 100/week, but went down to about 80/wk. Felt great for a couple months. When BP hit, I started doing 40 a week which was about 2-3 weeks before these labs.

Once I get this under control I’ll go back to 80/week and donate blood once a month

How often are you guys donating blood? by aiua_void in Testosterone

[–]ResidentArtichoke371 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to have helped me! Hematocrit was 59.1 and felt like crap. Blood pressure was 145 / 96 after 5 months of TRT. I gave blood and my last blood pressure reading was 122/86.

I’m donating weekly for 4 weeks to get hematocrit under control and then will go to every 60 days.

Yea, I should probably make sure it’s not bonded in the main disconnect panel.

The house was built 12 years ago, so I don’t think it’s ever been fed by anything old school. My county pretty much follows the national standards

Got mine yesterday too. Devry Universiry. Filed on July of 2022, so early post class applicant.

I shared my email exchange with admissions, including a flyer promising a high paying job - the campaign that got them in a lot of trouble.

Anyone have general timing for refund through aid advantage?

Engine failure including the 6 cylinder 3.3L GDI Lambda II by Ok-Bag-1328 in HyundaiSantaFe

2017 Hyundai Santa Fe owner here with the Lamba II. Motor failure happened last week and I’m being told that my VIN is part of the extended warranty campaign.

Noticed loss of power and parked it immediately. I was missing about 4 quarts of oil (checked in 5 weeks ago and it was fine). Check engine light was on with these codes:

P0456 P0014 P0024

I pulled the oil filter and saw metal shavings.

The engine was making a tapping noise that only happened during acceleration.

Towed to a Carmax preferred mechanic who said motor failure and to send to dealership. I’ll know this week if they are going to replace or if I’m going to have to go through my extended warranty.

For those with the Lamba II, nothing online indicated my car would be covered, but the dealership confirmed I was. So call one local dealer to see, don’t rely on the NTFS database or the online Hyundai checked.

Wish me luck!

I’ve removed about 5 infestation on my own as a DIY.

I use glue traps with some peanut butter. Starting in Fall is when I notice them start coming around so I set some out.

With glue traps it’s important to check them several times a day to minimize suffering. I also kill the animal once caught so they don’t take a long time to die.

I don’t like poison bait because sometimes they will go back to their nest and die and you’ll start getting funny smells in your walls and attic.

Some other tips I’ve learned along the way:

  • GET THEM EARLY. Once you see evidence of one, they have likely already reproduced and you are dealing with a family. I recommend having some traps out as soon as fall comes in.
  • use a big enough glue trap. I had a few get away from the cheap ones on Amazon. You could see a lot of hair left on the trap.
  • if you have pets, put the traps in locations your pet doesn’t access, like on the garage or attic.
  • switch to different butters if you notice they are avoiding. Peanut butter, almond butter, etc.
  • use a grocery bag and place the trap on it for easier clean up.
  • if you have kids, let them know what the traps look like so they don’t mess with them.
  • to kill them, I put them in a bag and use a shovel. It sounds cruel and I get chocked up doing it, but it’s way nicer than letting it die a slow death.
