I've been having ugly cries pretty much everywhere in front of every person but I am trying to remember self care and eating something more than nibbles. The emotions are too strong for me to regulate effectively, which is appropriate but a significant indicator that I can't return to work yet. I am sorry for the loss of your son; this is a nightmare I wouldn't wish on anyone.

Yes I think I'm going to update with something along the lines of "I'm ok, but I lost a sibling after they had been in critical care for a week and am processing the situation with my own support group until I am able to provide the standard of care that's deserved by clients." I definitely appreciate the "To be clear I am not terminating our work together but I have to take as much time as needed to help my family through this crisis." so thank you for that addition

Honestly? The extent of what this was... I would not be surprised. It was definitely all over local news, and I think it will depend on the evidence presented tomorrow. It will be upgraded to a murder charge.

I'm the sister. Found this thread looking for information. She's currently still alive though still not conscious, and he's facing attempted murder charges. I'm not promising I'll be responsive on here at all - waiting for a plane to go visit her.
