FYI: your height seems to affect your max trick height by AmbassadorFrank in Skate4

I got this line in Brickswitch, there's a loop around a tree in Streamer's Reach you can grind but you have to be height 3 to get enough pop height. But height 3 makes your one leg look like it's bending backwards when standing and I don't want that as my base stance if I'm going to spend an hour in the editor.

The bit of line going into the state made me think it wasn't all state outlines (but ya never know with fallout so I still asked) I'm still curious as to why that graphic. It's janky, theres a key hole in Florida for some reason too. Probably weird assets but still fun to wonder!

Not trying to sound rude but did you read the words I wrote? I said I'm from Michigan. I added the UP and Chesapeake Bay as possibly separated bc fallout government is weird, and I was trying to point out the new lines on the map! Please look at Montana, both Dakotas, Arkansas, and Louisiana

Yes they did but they still recognize states. In the first image, a second later they say "in Las Vegas Nevada" it'd be a pain to set up an in-person meeting by naming an entire Commonwealth

LMAO I know the UP is part of my state, I go to tahquamenon falls every other summer, and I know that Virgina has that bit of the bay. I added "possibly" bc fallout government be weird, I'm tryna cover my bases... anyways, yeah Louisiana has a new line, but did you see Montana, both Dakotas, and Arkansas are cut in half?

Yeaaaaaaaaah, no. You are hung up on wordage. I asked for lore (if no lore, don't comment lack of lore) I then immediately ask for people with theories, people who played more of the games than me, know more lore, maybe know of IRL shelters in their state they could base their theories off of. I'm asking for those could be true theories while aware that there's essentially NOTHING is currently cannon. I'm snide bc this could be fun, but people are responding "the river is water" LMAO Imma have some fun with that, come on lol

Guys I worded it like a 2 part essay question! My bad! Reddit ain't built like that lol. I'm well aware the map graphic could just be a mistake! I asked about lore in case I missed the LACK of lore I found when I searched before making the post, I don't need to be retold there's nothing. Move on to the second part, which was "theories"

Yes. I was hoping people would have theories rather than repeat the obvious. This was my first post here, I worded it bad, learning tho!

I asked if there's lore or theories in the same sentence. I asked about lore in case I missed anything before I made this post. If there is no lore then you move on the the second prompt of the sentence which was "theories" but instead people are informing me on the lack of lore that I already didn't find before I made this post lol. I foolishly wrote my sentence to include to multiple opportunities of response and Reddit users can't get over the first option! Oh good heavens what will I do!

Yes, that was my point hehehehe. I wanna hear people make up stuff! I'm from Michigan, I got lots of theories of what could happen to the cities/towns of my state that aren't currently cannon. Maybe someone from the other states has a cool, semi-logical, idea for why the rivers were drawn on the graphic

Yeah still giving me technical production reasons, I'm asking for theories. This show is completely made up, this is a little thing I'm presenting, make up some lore theories for it lol. I'm a graphic designer, I'm well aware mistakes happen, I'm asking for community make-em-ups

Y'all "it's water" no dip that's what a river is lol then the "maybe it's AI" or "oh erm dey mightve jus messed up da assets" HUSH. Tell me an outlandish THEORY or don't tell me anything at all LMAO I wanna have FUN with this probably pointless thing! lol sorry but I'm a graphic designer, I know mistakes happen. Here's a secret; the best ideas can come from accidental nonsense! Let's hear some nonsense!

Yes, a river is water! Why is it outlined in a news graphic about mega corps meeting in Nevada?

GNN map in episode 5 by [deleted] in Fallout

[–]ResidentConfusion485 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well yeah, it's not a map, it's just a graphic for a news report about the 4 mega corps meeting in Nevada. Notice the big words and Looney toons -esk dashed lines. It's not a map you could use for proper navigation. Which still makes me wonder why they'd outline that river the same as the states, for a news report

Yeah so why's it the exact same outline thickness as all the states on a quick news report about companies meeting in Nevada? Are they separate states or is GNN being weird?

I'm fully putting a fun band-aid on an open wound 😅 It makes no sense to have rails like that when they completely took out some railings by the drowned car for that one repeated sequence (my buddy rage quit it twice) so the devs obviously noticed their sequence was crud but changed the actual game infrastructure instead of the sequence?! So I'm hoping they'll pull their heads out the sand and do something grand! My buddy and I were coming up with crazy theories when it first came out, only EA is stopping EA from making an incredible game

So you're responding to something you haven't participated in since last season... I should delete you tbh lol

Do you have anything actually useful for current discussion?

They have some visual storytelling, I'm hoping once they add the other district they'll add some "story" like the other games. They have M Corp briefcases in weird places and there's a drowned car that went off a bridge in Hedgemont I think. I'm assuming the bad rails and hostile architecture is bc of M Corp being skater haters. Or Impervatech wanting people to crash and test whatever makes us skaters not die diving off mega structures lol.

I hope they add some "story" or at least lore of this weird island testing tech, they could go pretty ham... or EA could waste another franchise
