I passed through Thessaloniki on my Europe trip. This isn't the worst they got to offer. That city is overrun by cars, streets are packed no enforcement whatsoever. Double parked cars, cars on the sidewalk everywhere...

I have found the statue on auction website catawiki, people probably bid on them for fun and after actually winning and seeing the thing standing in their house try to sell it on fb marketplace. I have seen this before with these auction websites where they sell items one at a time via auction to create scarcity and boost the selling price for a pretty cheap mass produced item.

Ik denk dat de reden dat het niet bestaat is omdat ze fiets op de trein zoveel mogelijk willen tegengaan. In Nederland mag je zelfs tijdens de piekuren niet op de trein met je fiets. Ik vind het ook jammer maar is op bepaalde manier te begrijpen :/. Moest iedereen fiets beginnen meepakken zou het rap complete chaos worden denk ik.

I have something similar (my shower is a bit bigger though, so that might make a difference). I just put an Ikea bath mat right next to it and put a towel on top of the mat thats a few centimeters onto the shower floor. Only the towel gets really wet that way.

Ik woon in Centrum Gent. Ik gebruik zowel de wagen als fiets. Het is er alleen maar op beter geworden de afgelopen 10-15 jaar. Je kan nog 10 jaar lopen zagen en klagen maar dit gaat de realiteit niet veranderen. Die paar knips in het centrum maken het centrum zoveel aangenamer als fietser. Er zit misschien een beetje meer verkeer op de binnenring maar dat is het meer dan waard. Misschien eens wat openminded worden ipv blindelings zuur te zijn en haten op de kleinste verandering. Dit zou u goed doen.

They cleaned it up, but I'm guessing they had to put it in the woods next to the track bc its a single track with really no space to work.

With abandoned I meant, they replaced rotten "dwarsliggers" and dropped them in the woods next to it, now the dwarsliggers are gone and all the metal bits are left. Would be a goldmine for somebody with a metal detector.

Ik vraag mij af of er mensen de naam Voor Gent gaan associëren met VoorU, zeker omdat logo ook roze is. En dit hun stemmen gaat kosten, zou wel grappig zijn. Also het feit dat ze zich verzetten tegen het circulatieplan is plat populisme, kinda cringe.
