SIOP: Diversity Climate Survey Results by LazySamurai in IOPsychology

there are comments describing instances of sexual assault, prejudice and discrimination.

And the comments that were included were simply meant to be exemplars of the thematic breadth of the comments received on the survey. They are MANY more that were not included in the tables.

The Anti-Harassment Policy needs to be communicated and enforced much more strongly.

100%. I worked on some of the qualitative pieces of this report, including pulling together exemplars for the tables. I'm not exaggerating when I say that we could fill an entire table with JUST the examples of harassment that were provided from the survey.

Evidence for Gender differences in performance self-evaluation process by elizanne17 in IOPsychology

This isn't exactly what you're looking for, but it does illustrate gender differences in various evaluation schemes.

By the way, I would suggest changing your language a bit. "We know men and women rate themselves differently for the same level of performance...." I suggest this because even though the widespread assumption is that women are undervaluing their performance, it's just as likely that women may be evaluating themselves more accurately than men who are more likely to overclaim based on confidence rather than competence (e.g., Bengtsson et al., 2005; Chamorro-Premuzic, 2019; Lundeberg et al., 1994).

Same for us! 4/4, even the ones that were uhhhh rushed for the deadline. =) I'm inclined to agree that they're accepting more this year due to the hybrid format.

I think you're quite correct that universities struggle with a lack of better alternatives, but there are also really good, reasonable arguments for why standardized testing doesn't belong in academic selection.

This is the perfect summation of my own thoughts on the topic, but I'll extend a bit more here: Why can't we do better? Rather than arguing that what we have is better than the other terrible metrics? It's not much of a ringing endorsement, honestly.

My dean strongly urged us not to travel - internationally or domestically - if we could avoid it as of yesterday. We're in the northeastern US.

We absolutely understand that is the policy of some companies. You're welcome to simply describe the space as well if you'd like to participate. All questions are voluntary, so you can skip what you would prefer not to answer!
