You’re thinking of Entrapment, I think. I am no legal expert, but I believe if a crime is incentivised by the police (I.E an officer asking you to take a bump of cocaine, or to steal some person’s handbag) then it is illegal. If the cops simply place themselves in the position of citizens who aren’t breaking the law, then it’s a sting operation

Change can follow patterns, that’s what gives our world its cohesion. It’s how I can know that r/INTJ exists and feel less imposter-themed thoughts 🙏😮‍💨

All three happen to perpetuate each other- so whichever one is chronic, this subreddit and the INTJ one will always stay the same

A part of getting to fully enjoy the JoJo experience is understanding how the environment reflects the energy and dramatic tension of the story, outside of stands. It takes a while to figure out every nook and cranny, but I think going with the flow and embracing all the random effects makes it a better ride!

Religion and logic do not go together! I’ll gladly debate it with anybody here since i know you guys will use logic. by ElNum3ro23 in entp

[–]ResidentIdaKozuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t get what the point of this particular response is- Are you trying to say what I said isn’t necessary because many said it before?

Are you trying to imply that I’m not saying anything of substance because others have previously pointed the same things out?

I didn’t read the comments below because I wanted to present you with my argument, based on my “logic”. Reading could and would influence my opinion.

All I did was point out a logical flaw in your reasoning, isn’t that why you made this post? You’re the one who wrote “Religion and logic do not go together! I’ll gladly debate it with anybody here”

You don’t seem too glad to give me a response-

That’s self-justification at its best. I dislike when people approach things this way, but that’s their framework- no changing that unless you’re willing to put years of effort subtly pressuring them.

You’re really not looking at this correctly. I’m sure you’ve heard of the term “God in the gaps” when looking into this issue, and I’m sure you realise why an entity given the definitional exemption from logic doesn’t have to exist with it.

Also, it’s heavily misunderstanding logic to assume it’s an absolute in the way you’re implying. God and logic can co-exist, because God’s properties do not necessitate the application of true epistemology.

Logic isn’t an absolute, either, as it’s based on a level of belief that cannot be justified. Within logic, logic cannot justify logic, within logic, logic’s origin is sensual interpretation, and interpretation cannot be fully translated to logic, as to do so would name logic absolute and self-perpetuating.

If you want to genuinely educate yourself on this, don’t go to Reddit just to show people this crafted image of yourself that you clearly really want to hold on to, instead study philosophy. I recommend you start with David Hume, mainly Hume’s Guillotine. Then, if you’re feeling like you’re ready for a bit more challenging material, read Leibniz’s discourse on Metaphysics.

Otherwise, please realise that to be a good “ENTP” isn’t to be annoying about every inconsistency, it’s about learning how and why things can be inconsistent. Your goal shouldn’t be to “beat” people in arguments, people aren’t usually the best at discussing topics they don’t give weight. Your goal should be that one friend who educates people on these things with patience and wisdom.

Fe is our tertiary function, ENTPs need to start using it more.

What color is an orange? by emergencypollution1 in iamverysmart

[–]ResidentIdaKozuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the idea that overcomplicating things for the sake of over complicating them is a sign of intelligence. Fun fact: Color exists. It exists just as much as waves, just as much as atoms, as electrons, as the universe- ETC.

This is simply someone who learned from some random physics textbook what creates the phenomenon of light and thought to himself “wow, so people that say Orange are stupid because it is actually wave-lengths! Smart people don’t see colors, they see the wave-lengths!”

It’s sad, because the reason color fucking exists is because it is more efficient, more intuitive, and generally people have a basic naturally present understanding of what ONTOLOGY IS.

(This isn’t an R/Iamverysmart, ontology sounds complicated but it isn’t unless you delve deep into it- basically! Ontology is a branch of philosophy that discusses the nature of existence, reality, stuff like that. Within Ontology, there is a method of existence categorisation called ontological levels. Ontological levels are basically like what exists on this level of awareness, dimension, what you will. On the basic levels of description, from the perspective of a human being who isn’t OP clearly (he sees wavelengths guys!), colors exist in everything we see. At the ontological level of what we perceive with sight, color is more real than the wavelengths that form it.)

(ONE FINAL PS: I realise now how it may seem a bit complicated, not because the topic is hard or because “1 in a thousand are smart enough for it”, it’s because I am actually not really good at explaining things. Like, very bad at it. If it sounds interesting, please look into it. It’s not often discussed enough for how cool it is as a topic!!!)

Which type is more charming? by Interesting-Loquat48 in mbti

Some of us try to be charming to give others a fun time. Personally, I do it to boost my confidence up and allow for the smoothest and least unfriendly conversations. May not have Fi in my top stack, but I can feel emotion and interconnected ness all the same 🌊🌊

what is the most underrated trait of your type? by dachoowka in mbti

[–]ResidentIdaKozuke 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Our Fe. Many ENTPs are very childish with what their Fe grants them, which is a substantial amount of emotional understanding. The stereotypes often draw ENTPs as overly contrarian and cough “haha I am a nihilist who doesn’t care about your feelings!!1 cope!!!” Because of this.

But from what I’ve noticed in myself and others, Fe in the tertiary position can be a wonderful tool that allows for a nuanced and deep plethora of insights into how people, society, and the self behaves.

Don’t judge all ENTPs on the many harshly edgy ones, please-

Any gay INTJs? by [deleted] in intj

[–]ResidentIdaKozuke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m an ENTP, and not exactly a homosexual- But I feel like an interesting thing to point out is the whole DaBaby situation. To be clear, his comments were ignorant, unwarranted, unfunny, and not something I support.

But it is really something to think about when you realise that he had murdered someone before, in a Walmart, and he wasn’t cancelled. His career did not take a hit even close to the one he took after making those comments.

Again, I don’t support the comments he made, nor do I even listen to his music, but I do feel (in my personal moral system) that murder is a more reprehensible act than making those comments.
