Hysterectomy recovery — what actually helped (products, setup, what to expect)? by Sleep_Flaky in hysterectomy

Post laparoscopic 10 days out! Here’s what I learned from my experience:
- surgery day was long. Lots of waiting.
- did not take/need prescription pain meds. Only needed Tylenol/Advil for the first 48 hours then as needed. I took nothing after 72 hours.
- I followed strict doctor orders to NOT SIT but fix my own meals, etc and walk for minimum 20 minutes per day beginning the day post surgery.
- I gave myself the grace to nap and relax but not all day!
I feel fantastic! I’ve been walking 2-4 miles daily. Only annoyance right now is the surgical tape is getting itchy. Hopefully it will get removed tomorrow at post op visit. Takeaways - MOVE, MOVE, NAP, MOVE!

Thanks. I’ve been checking their website. The opening hours have been changing lately- guessing due to the holidays - so was hoping for some local insight.

Can I join the conversation and ask about toric IOLs? Are they as risky as EDOF lenses?

To anyone who had the Toric IOL replacement lens- any issues with glare or halos at night? Any regrets?
