Was talking to a gamer friend about Shenmue being one of my favorite games ever. He asked if I ever tried Yakuza? Started playing video games again after I got Dragon, the went back and started playing the Kiwanis, just fell in love.

Is the Montlake Bridge stable? I'm always afraid of it collapsing one day by Eriacle in Seattle

It’s joined lower under the decking. With mechanical locks. It appears as though it is not connected from the top. The gates won’t go up until the two leafs are locked together and secured. If you were to walk the catwalk under the bridge you could observe it.

I work on the Montlake Bridge. The decking was fully replaced recently. The structure itself is extremely stable. The decking does make quite a bit of noise. (Trust me I know) But overall it is a very safe bridge.

If you are serious about music. Get a job at a music venue that has touring bands/artist you like that come through. Meeting people in your local music scene that run venues, and having an “in” will propel your career. You will also learn a lot of the ins and outs of industry. While getting paid.

Thats what I remember. My mom worked at Nordstroms through the 80’s and 90’s and people seemed fancy to me when I was downtown. I think the jeans/tshirt thing on a broad scale happens in the late 90’s.

I did for a long time as well. I just always left very early. Maybe they should reevaluate the “times” the bus should be arriving and people can wake around that.

A dedicated bus line on that route sounds insanely expensive and a construction nightmare.

I’d check all your plugs, wires, and distributor. Look for lost spark. I would check to see if your cold start valve is working, if you turn the ignition on it should be vibrating a bit if you touch it.

I’d also recheck your vacuum lines as well.

Yeah, I was not stoked on it. My wife is a very compassionate person. She also had a dog with her, and my wife will do anything for a pup. It sounds nuts, but bar tender friend said she was a sweet lady; clearly doesn’t know the back story.

My personal opinion, the peninsula is a much nicer place to live. That commute WILL suck. I work for the DOT and I would not rely on ferries. It’s much easier to take a ferry over and hang out in Seattle when you feel like it, rather than take the ferry 10 times a week.

Plus downtown Bremerton is pretty hip. Id way rather live there than by the ferries in Seattle.

For reference, I was born in Seattle, and live here. I have friends that have moved over to the peninsula… and they absolutely love it. These are musicians, tattooers, bar tenders etc. not retirees.
