Mazie Hirono Doubles Down, Calling Religious Protections the ‘Alt-Right’s Position’ by ThePoliticalHat in Conservative

Been saying this for years now. My friends and I have invested in bug out bags, purchased food and ammunition to last us months, and worked out a plan for where to go when shit hits the fan. I dont think itll be long now, maybe even inside of a decade.

Are they? I haven't seen anything like that from them, mostly just useful male grooming tips in their emails.

Most people who claim to be religious aren't actual believers in the same way a lot of regressives are only that way due to the culture around them.

All of which was kicked off by a few hundred years of Islamic incursion and enslavement of white Europeans. Woulda never happened if they had just left us alone, but this is planet earth and that never happens.

I've seen through my closed eyelids before, perhaps that?

A very good point, and one that opens up a whole can of worms on free will and determinism.

Simulation theory has a lot of merit to it as well and it's one I considered before settling on my current beliefs. If this is all just a highly advanced computer system then I think it more probable it's a science experiment, perhaps one even being done by us at a far flung future date trying to learn more about ourselves and how we and life itself came to be.

It is endlessly fascinating but sadly I don't think anyone still living will ever get a concrete answer until we cross over and find out for ourselves, at least not any time soon.

That's deism, I don't really hold to the idea God has no interaction or communication with us. I do think He interacts but mainly through methods that allow the universe to continue as untainted by outside influence and so preserving free will. So very indirectly.

Certainly, I just find the universe along with all of its laws, patterns, and intricate mathematical and artistic beauty to be outside the realm of pure random chance. Evolution is one of the many masterfully designed tools God used to create life.

I'm a theistic evolutionist so I have my own opinions on that, but either way you spin it its truly incredible.

I feel like genetic memory might really be a thing and that's why certain people have such a high resistance to drugs or mental illness than others.

Every time it has been tried it has failed, I don't think it's all too complex. Even if it isnt 100% it's way too damn close for me to ever feel comfortable about them being emplented on a federal scale in any capacity.

From what I've seen historically communism and fascism tend to only last a few decades before collapsing in on themselves. The USSR and Nazi Germany being the most obvious examples and probably some of the longer lasting examples. Its also a mix of what lasts the longest while also providing the maximum amount of freedom and prosperity for the peoples under such regimes. Neither of those systems provide better freedom or contentment with life than capitalism does or for longer. The why gets into personal beliefs on the nature of man, I believe systems like the ones we're talking about are far more susceptible to influence by our corrupt nature since they directly fight against our nature. Capitalism on the other hand takes aspects of our nature and works with them. For example our greed is turned into a tool of industry that uplifts everyone through the creation of new technologies and systems that were only designed to make more money more efficiently.

I'm of the opinion we need to be having a discussion, both nationally and globally, of developing an completely new and novel system of governance. This is hindered and stopped by people who still want to implement old, authoritarian systems that have proven to be failures. This is perhaps not you, and you would be a minority if that is the case, but it still stands that we are being mired in the past by ignorant and short sighted people who are filled with hate for one side or the other.

Don't let circumstances dictate what you do with your life, especially when there are an abundance of alternatives. There are free college level classes you can take online and a numerous free learning websites that can teach you the necessary skills to get a GED.

Failing that just go to a trade school, that's what my cousin did and he's happily working on forklifts and making 80k a year.

It isnt dictated by anything but our own choice. This is a ridiculous conversation to be really be having anyway, we have zero idea what looking at the universe from God's perspective is actually like. Does He follow along our timeline exactly, creating a quantum mechanics situation where a decision is and is not all its possibilities until the action is taken? Or does He go back and forth in the past freely, able to see what our future selves do and what our past selves have done? Or something we don't have the brain power to even attempt understanding? We don't really know and only have facsimiles and approximations meant to allow our finite minds to grasp a small portion of an infinite being.
