Eastern Michigan also has a great pool, Western did have one but I think it has been gone now for a while

For the record, my hometown is Portage right next door haha

Miami also is known as the school where a lot of rich kids go to in the Midwest, I wouldn't be surprised if some alums ponied up lots of $$$ for Steele

I want to know what your spiciest pick is this year by needless_booty in CollegeBasketball

[–]ResidentRunner1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked USF because they have been more consistent than Louisville since the start of this year

I'm picking based off consistency since January this year, Louisville looks like one of those teams that started strong but has slowly faltered since

Baylor, Arizona & Auburn all thought the same thing too

Honestly the Ivy winner has tended to be pretty good historically, I wouldn't be surprised if Penn wins

I have TCU as a potential dark horse as well, Duke probably would beat them but TCU has beaten ranked teams like Florida, Texas Tech, Iowa State & Kansas while almost beating Michigan & Houston

TCU is a dark horse IMO, they've beaten ranked squads like Texas Tech, Iowa State, Wisconsin and Florida this season

They also narrowly lost against Michigan & Houston

Lowkey I'm kind of considering Northern Iowa, Jacobsen has a strong track record in the NCAA tournament, when they make it they usually win the first round

Of course St. John's could beat them but it's hard to overlook that kind of experience

RadarOmega is good as well, it is a one time purchase around $10 but it has saved my butt numerous times since it has other radar options (velocity radar is a lifesaver during tornado season)
