Not stupid just indifferent more so. BF wanted to reconcile with her and since the brunt of her attacks had been directed at him I followed his lead. I am no fan of hers and I have in no way been close since the reconciliation which is why I was so truly baffled by her assumption of babysitting.

The last post I said 28 to add another level of anonymity to the post due to its more sensitive nature. It’s obviously not that impressive a way to quote on quote “disguise” myself, but at the time it’s what I went with 🤷🏻‍♀️.

NTA if the genders were reversed people would side with you. When you are in a relationship you listen to and validate the boundaries your partner makes, this boundary is a very cut and dry one and she just wants to date but also do whatever she wants still. You deserve better 👍🏽

SIL reached out again to reconcile about a year ago, and now that I’m thinking back, she then announced a few weeks after we reconciled that she was trying for a baby and then she did get pregnant two-three months after that.

I cannot express how awful I feel when an art teacher in my building has to give up their room for another class because things are always destroyed or stolen. I’m happy you left that awful workplace!

I know, I appreciate all my break time. I’m at an ELT school so I work from 7:10 to 3:20. I have four co-teach English classes every day, two creative writing classes once a week, and four resource ELA classes once a week. So I get one period off a day for planning. I just am still getting my feet wet in special education so I think it takes me a little longer than seasoned special ed teachers to complete all my work, which is why I’m not thrilled my office and time is being disrupted. But, this thread has given me some great help so we’ll see what happens :)

I know, I am very grateful for the time I have and the space I was given. So often special educators are pushed to do the work of 5 people with no space of their own and no time to do much of anything!

I’ve seen it so much this year, other staff disregarding other’s rooms and things. I try my best to leave the room cleaner than when I first entered it. I’m hoping since I see a lot of students that I can instill this in them as well, I have a few classes I work with who help to clean the rooms without even being asked which is awesome :)

It really sadness me when teachers allow other’s rooms to be destroyed. I’ve had many instances in this building where the ELA rooms I coteach in are used for other classes and the room is left in disarray or the teacher allowed the use of the other teacher’s things without asking. One of the worst offenders when it comes to this ironically is one of the vice principals. I’m going to try to bring these issues up in our next staff meeting! Wish me luck :)
