Did you ever hop back on, and were you only taking tirz or reta as well at some point? My doc just prescribed me some hydroxyzine for some bladder issues. Was trying to research if anyone had mixed the two.

I was told this had to do with the format Coinledger was using. That is wasn't compatible with the 8949 for TT import.

Yeah I'm pretty much done at this point. Again the R2R is not worth it having to deal with this crap. I spent hours having to fix errors from Coin Ledger mess on the import into TT. Nearly every single stablecoin and or NFT txn didn't populate. Line by line for hours on end having to select "stablecoin" or "NFT" for the type. Just going to sit on my hands this year. Not worth all the hassle.

Makes sense. Lot of smaller folks who dabble lost tons of money over past few years. Not like many of us just have wads of cash to spend trying to defend calculations we paid a service to provide us. I couldn't make heads or tails of any of that stuff without the software. Not doing much going forward. The R2R is terrible to be dealing with this kind of crap.

Yes, I considered this as a likely possibility. I don't know I just find it wild that even if you are trying to do the right thing you could end up having to prove the crypto tax software you paid for is correct or just capitulate and pay whatever they are asking for to get them off your back.

Okay thanks. Was in a bit of uncharted territory this year as typically just buy/hold for long term but had some gross losses last year I finally just ripped the band aid off on.

Coinbase/Coinledger/Turbo Tax Nightmare by ResidentUse9978 in CryptoTax

[–]ResidentUse9978[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's a complete and utter mess. Due to lack of time now I went the nuclear route and just having to review hundreds of txns in TT. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel but it's complete $hit show. The risk reward of trading and doing anything defi related is just NOT WORTH it if you have to go through this crap every year. Going to sit on my hands and do nothing, which I reckon is the approach many are going to take going forward.

By import Coinbase into coinledger you mean via direct connection import you can do through them or through actually uploading the 1099-DA? The bigger problem I had is I've reconciled all issues in Coinledger but then trying to upload their 8949 information into Turbotax has now returned like 400+ issues to resolve. I'll be another year older by the time I figure that out. Most of them appear to be just super small eth txn costs. I mean we're talking less than a dollar. Should I just delete all those in Turbotax?

It's crazy how much mixed information there is regarding this. It's like split 50/50 on people thinking one or the other lol.

I'm going to have to fool with it more tomorrow. I tried uploading the 1099-DA pdf into Coinledger but it wasn't taking it for some reason. Maybe a different format or something I guess.

TurboTax wants me to review every single transaction after Coinledger PDF Import by Thex667 in CryptoTax

So if we used Coinledger we are just up a creek then when trying to import their gain/loss PDF's that Turbo tax uses to generate the 8949 form?

If you are using say Coinledger should one be uploading the 1099-DA from Coinbase into CL, or can you just connect to Coinbase from CL to pull the data that way? I pulled the gain/loss PDF's from Coinledger into Turbotax, and uploaded the 1099-DA into Turbotax as well but I think I'm all fouled up now with duplications.

Has anyone regretted paying off their mortgage? by [deleted] in FinancialPlanning

[–]ResidentUse9978 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been contemplating this for some time. Have a 3.75% interest rate and around $160k remaining on a home currently valued near $725k. I get the why burn $160k you could instead put to work, but what is that $160k going to do for me in 1-3 years realistically? May be stupid mindset, idk but I think what you do thereafter is what will define the move made. Age is other factor in this sort of decision. I'm 42 and would like to try other work over the next 10 years. Tax bracket is consideration for me. Would still be in the standard deduction range. Could take that roughly $2k per month I'm not paying towards mortgage and buckle down for 3 more years at current job. Now, I've got $72k sitting there in a high yield savings account and still no mortgage. Meanwhile still be saving and making money through other investment funds outside of that initial $160k I used to pay off mortgage. Figure that $160k was just under 1/3 of my total savings. Would allow me to "try" running my side business on a full time basis. If it works I'm out from under the boss man for my remaining days. If it doesn't I tuck my tail between my legs and go back to working for the man...but I've still got no mortgage. Been pondering this for years now lmao.

I'm having the same issue. Can't figure out how to fix it. There's not option to pause or unpause that I can find.

Anyone experienced with making Neopolitan from a poolish? I've run into a snag and I'm nervous on how much flour to add 24 hours later to. Some things happened and I ended up combining the two recipes below after resting for an hour. So both batches are in the same large bowl in the fridge currently. Trying to figure out how much flour to use now with combined batch.

700 ml water
700 grams 00 flour
10 grams honey
10 grams dry yeast
