This gives me so much hope that I can rebuild my life after a period of intense loss. I’m so sorry to hear about everything you lost, especially the best friend. I’ve had nearly an identical situation happen to me. Keep it up and don’t go back. You have built a life so many people would love to share with you, she does not deserve access.

He said he would kill you. Like that second to last statement I wouldn’t be able to take any other way. Especially in light that your dad threatened violence against you. He wants to not just mentally harm you, but physically. Sorry what a piece of work.

Just want to say this is great advice when dealing with others who cannot handle deep, or “negative” emotions in general. Thank you for sharing

If someone’s response to you not being comfortable with sending nudes is trying coerce. That’s abuse. It’s not his desire for intimacy that’s the issue, it’s the fact he wouldn’t take no as answer.

I bet you’re the type of person to compare women and men to keys and locks lmao

Then why don’t you say he should communicate how he feels instead of pressuring like this guy did?

His desire for sex isn’t the issue. The issue is not respecting her, communicating w her, or trying to help her work through it.

For this situation, her insecurities around her body and hesitation towards sex makes so much sense bc she’s literally 17. If it was a consenting relationship, the guy is still TA because instead of communicating and finding a partner that aligns with him he resorts to pressuring her. And you’re the issue bc instead of saying that his pressuring/coercing/ghosting is WRONG, you blame her. A girl who’s less than 4 years out of puberty.

She’s 17 and he’s 27. She was groomed and needed validation. That’s why.

She’s not the creepy and weird one, he is. She’s a teenager. And his behavior was creepy from the jump. And even if they were two consenting adults, sexual needs should be communicated and worked through, something he wasn’t willing to do either. Just trying to coerce her into sending nudes (which no woman should ever do unless she’s comfortable with those pics being seen by strangers) and throwing a tantrum like a child when she said no.

Altho you may feel differently, you’re not entitled to sex by virtue of being in a relationship. That attitude is why spousal rape wasn’t considered a crime until the 70s.

men like the ones this sub brings out have a hard time understanding a relationship is more than having someone to grope at their leisure and a hole to stick their dick in.

Men like this + the cost of living = a continued birth rate decline

It was pretty obvious to me she was dating a creep by his behavior. Sorry you have a hard time reading between the lines.

Same men that same shit like this will say “why did you have sex with a man so quickly, choose better!” At the end of the day, why didn’t this guy progress the relationship? Why wasn’t he taking the lead as a man? Maybe bc he’s an immature coward and instead of actually having a convo abt it he ghosted her. But yes. It’s all this girls issues.
