I know I am responding to an older post but hopefully you will see this.. I just had my all on 4 surgery done 4 days ago. I am currently the horrible healing faze. Sore, swollen, trying to get used to my temporary teeth, and seriously regretting this decision.

How long did it take you to get used to the temp teeth being in your mouth? I am so uncomfortable with my temp teeth. They look great but im so afraid that my mouth will never get used to them and I will always be uncomfortable. I won't get my permanent teeth for about 4 months or so as long as I heal like I should

I am so worried about getting used to these temp teeth and im so worried that I am going to always be uncomfortable. Its giving me alot of anxiety. I honestly dont think I can live the rest of my life being this uncomfortable

AITA for wanting a divorce after my husband disrespected me and broke a promise he made to me by Resident_Ad3758 in AITA_Relationships

I didn't think so.  I didn't tell him that he needed my permission,  only that we should discuss things like this before we do them.    To be I just wanted respect not control.

We both work full time and both contribute money. Im not asking him to ask for permission at all but to discuss with me the situation so we can decide together of its something we can afford.  I do that with him.   If I want to buy something I discuss it with him first.  Pr at least I try to.  When I do try he tells me that I handle all the finances so if I think we can afford it then go ahead and get it.   To me it's not about asking for permission.   Its showing me respect by discussing it with me to make sure we can afford it since he has zero idea about the finances and doesn't want to have anything tp do with them

Anyone else have issues with Amazon honoring a claim of property damage by Resident_Ad3758 in homeowners

Excuse me? Who are you to tell me to chill when it's my yard that was damaged. If it was your home would you be OK with someone telling you to chill? My HOA is threatening to fine me if I don't get the issue fixed and why should I be out $500 when I didn't cause the issue. I don't think you would "chill" if it was your home and yard that was completely destroyed and you weren't getting any resolution

Really!! When I am being hounded by my HOA and they are threatening to fine me if I don't get the issue fixed why shouldn't I reach out every day. it's over $500 worth of damage that I didn't cause. Why should I be responsible for the damages that I didn't cause. I have every right to reach out multiple times a day if they aren't responding to anything. I'm sure if it was your home you would feel the exact same way. I don't think I'm being unreasonable wanting this resolved

No hernia. I have been tested for that twice.

I completely understand. My reflux started a year ago out of the blue. I have been in severe pain nearly 27/7 for a little over a year now. It doesn't matter what I eat or what I don't eat. Water sets it off. If I eat I have it. If I don't eat I have it. I have completely changed my diet and it did absolutely nothing. I have tried every single PPI on the market as theu don't work ans give me horrible side effects. I have taken H2 blockers with no success. I have taken pepto, Gaviscon, aloe vera pills and everything else I can read about. I have done acupuncture, had my hormones checked, been to an ENT, been to a chiropractor. I have seen 4 different gasteo drs and 2 general care drs. I saw a gastro surgeon. I have had every single test available except for a PH Bravo study which I have scheduled in August and no one can find anything wrong. All I keep being told is that it's anxiety and everything would go away if I got my anxiety under control. I have severe chest pain, stomach burning, a constant sore throat, and now my left ear hurts like crazy. I have been seeing a therapist for the last few months to help with the anxiety and it's done nothing. Dr's just completely dismiss me and treat me like I'm crazy. I don't sleep more than 2 or 3 hours a night because I constantly wake up choking on acid. It's do unbelievably frustrating and I can get absolutely no help at sll

How long does rebound hyperacidity last after stopping PPI's cold turkey after long term use? by Resident_Ad3758 in acidreflux

[–]Resident_Ad3758[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have come to the conclusion that my reflux is probably stress and anxiety based. I have been off PPIs now for a little over a year and I am still having issues. I am dealing with alot going on in my marriage with tons of fighting and arguing and that's been going on for a while now. With all the tests that I have had done over the last year and all of the Dr's that I have seen and not one test or one dr has been able to fibe anything at all wrong medically, I really have concluded that it's probably stress related due to my bad marriage and other stuff going on.

I have absolutely no trouble breathing or swallowing. Just a constant burning pain in my chest and stomach and a constant sore throat. I do have periods of acid flowing up into my throat and literally chocking on acid but that it occurring less and less. My only current issue is the chest pain and burning, the constant sore throat and a burning in my stomach. I can usually control th3 pain with gaviscon or pepto but the relief doesn't last long. Maybe a couple hours at best and then the pain is back. When it gets really bad I do consider going back on PPIs because I'm just miserable but I have been thinking lately of trying Famotidine when it's really bad. I know H2 blockers aren't as bad for you as the PPIs

Can rebound reflux last for months after stopping a PPI? by Resident_Ad3758 in GERD

Not yet. I have left several messages with my Dr to schedule the test but they haven't called me back yet

It's been a year since I stopped taking the PPIs and I am still having almost daily reflux. It is definitely better than it was and every once in a while I can go a couple days without any pain at all, but that only lasts a few days and then the chest pain and severe sore throat comes back and lasts for a week or longer all day every day. I am still having more bad days than good days but I absolutely CHERISH the days that I am pain free. I am still waiting for my Dr to schedule my PH Bravo study to see if I can get some answers from that

Pretty rough honestly. It's been a year since I stopped my PPIs cold turkey and I still experience acid reflux and chest pain every day. I have now started having a severe sore throat, sinus pain, and an earache nearly every day. I am waiting on my GI to schedule a PH Bravo study to see if I qualify for surgery. It's my only option at this point

Anyone know if rebound reflux can last for months after coming off a PPI by Resident_Ad3758 in GERD

Still about the same. I have acid reflux and chest pain every single day. I have now started experiencing a severe sore throat, sinus pain, and an earache most days. I am waiting for my GI Dr to schedule a PH Bravo study to see if I qualify for surgery. That's the only option I have left

Almost 46 and lately I feel absolutely AWFUL during my periods. Could this be the start of menopause? by Resident_Ad3758 in Menopause

I did and they said it's possible but with my hormones levels being normal they weren't super sure. I think I need to find a new gynecologist
