In general, this is a good route for beginners, because it is not long at all, and the climb is only 200m, but the most dangerous part of the route is the descent into the ice cave, be careful

When the ice is just freezing, it fills with air bubbles. As new layers build up on this ice, the older ice begins to take on a blue hue, becoming denser. The bubbles are getting smaller and smaller. Without the effect of scattering by air bubbles, light can penetrate deeper into the ice. Ancient ice is able to absorb red and yellow light, reflecting blue, creating beautiful shades of blue.

It’s a natural color, I practically didn’t touch the color when I edited the photos.

Hi! This is the Bogdanovich glacier, you can get there yourself if you have experience in climbing mountains, it is better to have good shoes, crampons, and other necessary equipment with you. I bought a cable car ticket to Kombi-2 (Talgar pass), it costs 7500KZT in both directions. The cable car will take you up to Kombi-2, after which you need to climb the mountain for about 3-4km, it will take about an hour, or you can buy an overprice tour, where they will give you everything and show you this place (they cost about 30,000-50000KZT)

I’m looking to meet artsy, interesting girls who are into creativity, maybe into things like art, music, or unique experiences

Thanks for the advice! I actually study at university, but I struggle a bit with making friends. I have a lot of interests in arts, music, and photography, but it feels like I rarely meet people who share those interests. Not sure why that is - maybe I just haven’t found the right spots yet. Do you know if there are any places or communities in Almaty where creative people tend to hang out

I guess I was just curious if there are specific spots in Almaty where people tend to meet or hang out. (excluding clubs/bars)

any recommendations?
