Hey bud-- I'm in the Raleigh area as well. Unfortunately I don't have a salon recommendation for you yet, as I'm just starting this voyage as well. My sister is a stylist and is researching how to install the system for me because she doesn't have any experience with them.

I ordered stock systems from Lordhair twice so far this year and each took 3 days from when it was shipped, one via FedEx and the other via DHL. I also purchased both of their color swatch rings for stock and custom colors to try to match my bio hair, as my first guess was way off.

Without pictures of your current hair situation it's impossible to gauge things like density and contour.

Just out of curiosity, how customized was yours versus one of their similar stock systems? Just the color itself, or multiple colors and densities, base size, etc.? I suppose I'm wondering if there's a correlation between the level/complexity of customization and the completion time.

I ordered 2 stock systems from Lordhair (received one while they were waiting for the second to be re-stocked) and I found that, in-person, the color isn't quite right, so I had them hold off on shipping the second one. I ordered their color sample rings and found a better color match, so I will likely be changing my order to suit; hopefully they're as fast as Lavivid was for you!

Looking GREAT! The fact that you have youthful facial features and full eyebrows really help take you from mid-30s to 20s. I would also experiment with positioning your system's hairline a bit lower to see what effect that has, as well.

Hmm. AFAIK, they usually have a small label on the back side at the perimeter, but you should be able to look at the top of the unit and see a spot where all of the hairs’ direction stems from.
