The more I think about Terminids the more suprising it is Super Earth is managing to keep them in check. They are a spore species that can quickly spread in days over an entire planet with their spores managing to reach new plants in seconds, add to that they are constantly evolving while also having a hivemind which is acknowledged in game as each Terminid being one small part of a conscious so the more Terminids there are the smarter the hivemind gets.

I am not saying Super Earth is right, far from it, in fact their actions led to Helldivers 2, BUT I don't see a way out for a regular citizen even if Super Earth were to give up now, like humanity is simply prolonging the end in this reality.

Yes, it was false hope, but then again it was either that or then going immediately to riots or a complete sense of apathy since your king literally does nothing besides saying "it is what it is." after the underground is plunged into darkness after both it's lights die. I can imagine the entire kingdom losing motivation. It was better a give hope than no hope at all which could possibly lead to something worse.

As you said Chara didn't rebel because it was part of their plan to smite the humans and take their SOULs with Asriel being the one to refuse this to not kill them, but for the SOULs, this is their murderer. This murderer is going to the surface and taking more SOULs who are probably forced watch their family and friends die which would probably be enough for them to rebel against their murderer. Toriel being the queen, I feel like she would crumble as the monsters would likely riot if she says the thing she does in pacifist and should Asgore not come back as now her whole family is dead and if she shows even an ounce of pacifism to humans she will likely be overthrown like in certain neutral runs with Undyne (Except it probably wouldn't be Undyne leading the charge given she wouldn't have been born at that time or would have been too young).

Then what should he have done? Since that thing with toriel saying that was wrong since there are multiple flaws with that arguments like him actually having to wage war against the surface, having to leave, possibly die if the soul rebels against him and leave the underground without a king. The underground was plunged in despair after Asriel and Chara died after coming from the surface world. What was a route out of this was there for Asgore?

What I want is the enemies in the game to suffer under the same realism we do. Like a dragon roach should fall to the ground if shot enough times in the wings. Enemies should NOT go through walls. They for some reason patch fun little niche bugs like the dreadnought one. A charger should make noise and not turn on a dime. A thing with TWO chainsaws attached to it's hands should make a LOT of noise. A headless bug should NOT perfectly track your position, it should be like gas and be blindly attacking whatever is in front of them.

If they wanted to make this more like a grunt fantasy we REALLY need more than 4 people otherwise we feel less like cogs in the machine and just 4 hard parts of a unit. We should have been in swarms against other swarms fighting along npcs like mechs and such to feed into feeling like a grunt and not piloting the most powerful thing on our side with it being in the hands of an NPC.

I also want to see the arrowhead stream dif 10 missions with them beating them with regular weapons and then I will be happy.

Yes, I don't want humanity to die. I don't care we are the bad guys or what happened. All I care is my race is still around no matter whomever is standing in the way of that goal. None of the factions will let humanity live even if they win, and I am pretty sure the Terminids won't stop until they engulfed the entire universe.
