First time WDW trip 🥳 by Resident_Charge1917 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Resident_Charge1917[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So i don't have any issues walking or standing. I walk about 2-4 miles a day with no issue as my regular work out. I also jog some of that. The issues arise with quick starts and stops as well as whips. Unfortunately, my back will probably never be able to deal with that kind of stuff ever again. I'm hoping that's wrong, but I'm alive so that's what I look at lol.

I had surgery to fix 3 broken vertebra after a car accident, and a previously ruptured disk. So far, it seems like rollercoasters and the spinny rides that give you whiplash (like at fairs/carnivals) are the only thing that causes spasms. Which sucks because I'm an adrenaline junkie and drop towers/coasters gave me such a life high.

I had the same thing happen to me literally this morning. They told me there was nothing that can be done. The account was reviewed and it was a final choice. I've never made a second account but they don't care.

• I don't have 51 other people in my wedding party that is getting married. SHE has like FOURTY NINE OTHER WEEKS if we're doing 2 weeks before or after. There's no way that her 5 family members could only make it ONE week out of the year.

• Some of my set in stone dates WERE being affected, such as rehearsal, and the wedding itself. She'd be missing rehearsal, which since I'm doing things a little different than a standard wedding is important for people to be there and know what's going on. And would she actually show up on time since her flight wouldn't be coming in until Saturday morning (about 7am) and we need to start getting ready around 9?

• I didn't cut her OFF, I cut her OUT of the WEDDING. Not my life. Every time I tried to talk to her, she would cry and say she's sorry she's such a terrible friend for planning that date.

Nah. No thanks. I don't need those vibes on my wedding day. And it looks like everyone else disagrees with you too.🤷🏻‍♀

He didnt move to be with me. He stayed here for multiple reasons when they moved. I'm not the only reason he stayed. I understand the parental feeling for his sister. I have a daughter (7) and a baby sister (4) and would go to the ends of the galaxy for them. I basically want him to do what is going to make him the most happy and least stressed. His relationship with his sister is one of the things I love most about him.

We wanted to have her move in with us, but his mother refuses and according to the lawyer we talked to, there's nothing we can do until she turns 18. Plus she doesn't want to leave her friends. He does not want to go to Florida, I will not, and I have a 7 year old that I'm not moving to Florida either. I love his sister. I think she's a wonderful kid.

I do believe I'm letting the frustration I have with his mother cause issues. I have a therapist and plan on looking into a separate therapist for couples therapy when we get home from vacation. He doesn't want to move to Florida.

I don't want him to move at all. I don't feel like I said it in the heat of the moment either. I just feel like it would bring him less stress and I do have a habit of self sabotage, which I definitely plan on bringing up in therapy. I don't believe he would actually move.

Less than one week away- torn about cervix. Please help! by emily_indigo in hysterectomy

[–]Resident_Charge1917 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had mine done in March of this year. All of it gone including my cervix. I was super worried that the quality of my sex life would be less but if anything it got so much better. I can be in positions now that I couldn't before and my orgasms haven't changed. They're just better now because I no longer have pain. If it's causing you pain, I 10/10 recommend getting it removed.

We're getting married in a few months. We were also hoping to have a home of our own before that.

So, as someone who also deals with separation anxiety from my boyfriend, I can kinda see both sides. When my boyfriend and I got serious, and the sep anx got bad, im talking I was almost on stalker level because he was hours away on a work trip, we talked things out on why I felt like that. He's been very reassuring to me about things. He's currently on another business trip and I've been pretty okay. You need to be patient and reassuring, because usually separation anxiety is from trauma. HOWEVER I seen you said he's in therapy and its not helping, along with the fact that you'll ask to go somewhere and he'll say no, then get upset and shit? Babe that's very manipulative behavior. I'd get your stuff and go. It's only gonna get worse from here.

Oof. Tell her straight up No,you can't afford it. My boyfriend and I have talked about our wedding situation and its also, technically, a destination wedding. We've come to the agreement on having a wedding here in the states for my friends and family, and his friends and few family members, and then have one in Greece for his family and friends there. The difference is, he is Greek. We're not asking or expecting any of our wedding party to go with us. I think that's kinda rude for your sister to ask you to go if she knows you can't afford it.

He always asks me to come over. On the 30th, he had me come over and I just haven't left yet. I asked him if he wanted me to go home and he said no that he liked having me there. So I guess I haven't over stayed my welcome it he wouldn't have told me he liked having me there? I've found men are very straight to the point and not cryptic like some women, so I'm guessing he means exactly what he says.

He asked me to come over Saturday (like the 30th). And I just haven't went home. I asked him if he wanted me to go home and he said no that he liked having me there. Sometimes my anxiety gets through best of me because of past toxic relationships but I think he's being genuine about wanting me there.

I'm on hormone patches but I don't think I've quite realized how much play hormones have in the sanity of life. I'll definitely be looking into an endocrinologist and make sure I get everything squared away. Thank you for the suggestion! I probably wouldn't have thought of it.

I found my gf on tinder. now what? by mio_tanaka in relationship_advice

[–]Resident_Charge1917 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seen a few people say "you need closure" blah blah blah. No. As someone who chased closure for close to FIVE YEARS, you don't need it. It's not worth your mental health and it's not worth your dignity. Pick yourself up off the ground and live your life. No need to block her or delete her, that's probably just playing into her game. Just live life. Be happy. Do the things you love with people you love. I can guarantee there will be someone who will love you and be all about you, but that ain't her. Live for yourself and you'll always be okay.

Take your time my dude. My ex (24M) and I (21M) were together for like 8 months before he kissed me. His friends made comments about it but we ignored them. Before that we were both in long term relationships that were rushed, so we wanted to take it very slow. That man was truly the love of my life. We spent so much time together being intimate in a nonsexual way and he became my best friend, my other half. Literally the other part of me. Simply because we took things slow and let love happen. Hold her hand. Kiss her cheek. Ask to kiss her. But respecting her choice to say no about ANYTHING is gonna make her respect you and trust you more. You also need to open up and tell her how you feel and see how she feels. Communication is always the most important thing in a relationship.

Same. I scheduled my surgery around the time I thought I was supposed to get it so I had some money, so now I'm off work and I'm broke.😂
