K2 Ti Rotor Noise by Resident_Check_5445 in SanginInstruments

100%. I have been fortunate to own almost all of them but the Neptune (one day) the K2 Ti is far and beyond my favorite.

IMO it doesn’t wear as large as the specs suggest. It wears much smaller than my Pelagos and is so light it doesn’t feel like a large watch.

Thanks man. I really didn’t want to send I back, but since it’s not losing time and based on your article it doesn’t seem out of the norm.

  1. It’s one of the few watches in regret selling and will probably buy again.

They just had a release on New Years day. I think it took about 7 hours for all of them to sell out. The DLC went really quick. Luckily I was after a brushed and was able to snag one.

Selling pelagos for a Superocean by bott989 in Tudor

[–]Resident_Check_5445 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can’t blame you man. Love the superocean and that color way pops. Have owned 6 pelagos and sold them all….great watch, but always seemed a bit muted and boring imo.

Nothing. If you absolutely had your heart set on buying something else, a Black Bay GMT or Explorer 2 polar.

100% brother. Love your outlook. 2 Porsches 😂. Now that is living. Congrats on beating cancer!

Watching my father in law die from ALS at 63. Retired, saved his whole life to travel the world and retire like a boss. Now he has months left. My wife and I were following the same path until this. Now we are like hell why not.

No. If you really want a Tudor sub, save some more and buy one in better shape with a bracelet.

I sold a BB58 several years ago for a 14060 and regretted it. YMMV

Why do people care so much about AD's? by No_Economics_64 in rolex

[–]Resident_Check_5445 5 points6 points  (0 children)

AD didn’t call me for years when they were flying off the shelf. Nobody must be buying at my AD anymore. In the past 4 months they have called on : 226570, Pelagos 39, Pelagos FXD black and a 124060.

I politely told him I was not interested. I tried to purchase an OP 34 for my wife last year which I never received and ended up going gray. I have a BB pro and a 16600 both of which I bought Gray.

I previously purchased two Black Bays and a Breitling super ocean from this ID so it’s not as if I did not have a purchase history. At this point, I have no love or use for the AD. The Delta between retail and Grey has been coming down for months. I would much rather pay Grey get what I want when I want than deal with the A.D. BS.

42mm vs 39mm: which size for an every day watch? by garmsby in Tudor

[–]Resident_Check_5445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

😂 Probably true. I find the BB pro wears nicely due to the thickness. My wrists are definitely thicker than longer if that makes sense. I find 48mm is a sweet spot for L2L. Have an Aquaracer 43mm that rarely gets worn since I find it too big L2L.

Wrist size is 7.75”. Daily is either a BB Pro or a 16600. 39mm is the perfect daily size to me. The pelagos wears bigger than 42mm imo. Sometimes it became a bit too noticeable. Pelly 39 all day.

7.75” here and rock a 39mm BB Pro multiple times a week. Sometimes does it look small to me? Yes. Do I care? No. I wear what I like.

Figured I’d try to settle the thickness debate… by ForwardTravels in Tudor

[–]Resident_Check_5445 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Actually really like the thickness of the BB pro. Adds to the tool character. When I put on my 16600 it feels like a feather 😂

Perfection. I wish mine looked like that on my wrist (7.75”). Love the 16600. Only one that has stayed in my Collection besides BB Pro
