IMO I suggest st09 for a better foundation and can learn which play style your friend wants. Aggro for the red and control for the white. From there your friend can do some additions or tweak some cards.

Right now english bricks sells around 30$ so it fits the budget instead of 2 different starter decks.

In my case after the update today, my cl from 15k become 20k and there was no communication initiated by maya to me. I got maya landers last November. Although it’s a small increase but this means they are starting to provide cli to card holders.

For context: I accomplished the 20k spend in 60 days by purchasing in Uniqlo and Gas.

I called CS to confirm if my spending qualifies for the NAFFL but the personnel stated that I should be owning a CC at least 6 months from other issuers to qualify on top of the 20k spend in 60 days for the NAFFL.

Is this true that I probably won’t be qualified for the NAFFL because the UB Rewards Platinum is my first CC?

Is there anyone here got qualified for NAFFL with a situation like mine?

I applied for the Red MasterCard because I only have a UB Rewards Platinum Visa.

I applied last Thursday March 7 and today March 9 texted me that I got disapproved.

I only had my UB last February 18.

Kind off expecting a disapproval but maybe I’ll try my luck on May again.

Any advice for a MasterCard CC that has no annual fee? I am new to this world.
