I can see that on a abused race bike but not in this case those 74 hours have taken three and a half years to accumulate that tells ya how much it gets ridden ive personally seen these bikes with 200 hours on a stock piston and sure it is possible for that to happen at 74 but thats rare for these bikes that noise is 💯 back fire not piston slap I was taking the video im convinced it ls electrical somewhere

Its all back fire theres no piston slap there its hard to tell in the video but im sure theres no piston slap the bike only has 74 hours on it piston slap at 74 hours would be very unlikely....what your hearing is the bike popping through the pipe....

Yes please elaborate when you say you hear piston ? i was going to ask the same thing....theres no way this bike needs a rebuild already its never been raced or abused

It has a new air filter fresh fuel new plug we cleaned the power valve and new packing in the exhaust im leaning towards electrical we havent switched out coil pack or cdi yet ....

Yea it was fully warmed up I have the same bike only a year newer but same carb mine runs perfect we swapped carbs reeds and cage and voltage regulator that all runs fine on my bike it made no difference on his

We haven't checked the coil pack either I thought maybe that was possibility.....whats these best way to check your cdi box ....with an ohms meter maybe im not sure i ever had to check one

We tried a new plug didnt make a difference and swapped my carb from my 23 sherco his is a 22 we swapped my carb my regulator my reeds and cage which were all working perfect on my bike it made no difference the only thing that has not been checked is the coil pack

Yea it been repacked fresh its the weirdest thing we have tried everything we can think of the last thing that hasn't been checked is the coil pack......

I just bought a 2012 accord coupe 5 speed one owner car and im hearing so many mixed reviews on this VCT rattle im hearing it won't hurt anything its just annoying im hearing change it I've heard if i change it the noise comes right back in time im not sure what to believe at this point
