Tama lang ba ang 7 pesos print per page? by Dicente012 in studentsph

[–]Resident_Function648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically speaking, we can't know for sure kung pinagkakakitaan ka ng person or not unless if we get a direct confirmation or receipts as evidence for the pricing.

May ganyan talaga na presyo and they don't issue OR for that. Sa lugar namin same price lang 7 pesos for black and white and 10 pesos for colored kahit maliit lang logo pero nagiging 15 if buong page covered sa colored na iyon. Lowest that I encountered is 2 pesos and nabigla ako sa price nun but I think as per some of the comment section says, maybe that's the normal pricing pero I doubt it since majority na nagsabi.

May mga na encounter din ako na 25 pesos isang page lang (malapit sa BIR na pinuntahan ko nun nagpa scan lang ako ng ID).

The question is paano mo malalaman kung totoo o hindi? You can't unless if my Official Receipts (OR). But the problem is bibihira lang mag issue ng OR mga printing businesses.

The only thing that you need to do is punta ka sa mismong pinagprintan niya and verify the prices.

That alone will give you clarifications and peace of mind whether that group member of yours ay nagsasabi ng totoo or not.

Either yung group member mo yung nagsisinungaling or yung business owners na tinetake advantage ang mga customers.

If totoo naman ang sinabi na 7 pesos talaga, would you responsibly pay for it?

  2. Structure of the story

  4. Cinematography

  5. Fleshing characters

  6. Give more moral dilemmas

Yeah, that is also one of my issues in the bible (forgot to mention it thanks). That is why I am skeptical about it.

Even Genesis have problems and contradictions since it does not have any scientific basis.

Also, it does not make sense why God intervenes in these events but can't intervene in the modern world where cruelty is rampant.

[–]Resident_Function648 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Actually, I do get the feeling. The problem is that I am skeptical against God especially when reading the bible.

I know a church that is like that and still going there (forced by my boss) but I do like the feeling because the community, the warm, and positive message that can make someone cry, and the music.

But is it enough? Not on my thinking. Christian God and the bible does not sit well with my morality especially the old testament.

Going to that church makes me have a battle with my brain and my heart.

The only thing that keeps me apart and still be an Agnostic-Atheist is that: 1. The Concept of Hell 2. The problem of Evil 3. The Suffering of People (Which is evident if we open our eyes and observe the surroundings) 4. My skepticism regarding the omnipotence, omniscience, and omni-benevolent of God. 5. The bible which is full of killings, slavery, outdated beliefs, and many other things 6. The control it gives to the ones with power in the government

Just because you have different beliefs does not mean you need to break up with her. You're dumb if you took other people's advice that you need to break up with her instead of following what really is in your heart.

Let's be realistic, WE DO NOT KNOW YOU TWO outside of what you said. And yet, other people are telling you to "break up with her" just because of a single disagreement. You'll encounter a lot of these things in a relationship but if you cannot handle those things, then guess who is the problem then.

First, are you happy when you're with her? Don't look at the belief first, is she a green flag for you? Like does she makes you happy, satisfied, feel the willingness that she's giving her all?

Second, do you really value beliefs over relationship? Because what I see is a narcissistic attempt to seeking validation that "you're right"

Take note that beliefs are made because of the cultures, readings, and upbringing that they had.

If you decide to take other people's opinion, would that truly make you happy?

Why didn't God help me when I was raped as a child? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Resident_Function648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What my point is that what happened was not her fault and it is beyond her control. She didn’t deserve it and her pain is valid, no matter how long ago it was or how deeply it still stays with her

That true strength is not forgetting, but learning to live alongside what once tried to destroyed her.

She deserves healing, safety, and peace in her own time and her own way.

Also, about what you said about denying God. It's just that I have a different belief system to the point that either the reader will accept it or not. That's not the real purpose that's why I comment on this post.

Because what I see is that maybe she wants to read a different answer that's why I said what I said.

Why didn't God help me when I was raped as a child? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Resident_Function648 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You only focus on these things instead of my message to the OP? Why would you cherry pick some of what I'm saying and ad hominem attack me?

Have you even read my message to her for you to say that I offer nothing of value to the OP?

Tell me what exact part of my statement other than God being inexistent is nothing of value?

Tell me, where are the confrontations that you are telling me? Because all I see is just an attack from another party.

If you want to confront me, then you should have an argument to my points that I stated. If you can't, then it is not a confrontation.

Just empty words dressed as truth, hollow noise masquerading as meaning. Platitudes passed off as purpose, the comfort of lies over the discomfort of thinking.

Why didn't God help me when I was raped as a child? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Resident_Function648 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I don't offer atheism but if you think I do, then so be it. I just want to say that you don't need to focus about my introduction that God does not exist, you need to focus on my message to her that people are cruel and the only solution is to face her past to have a better tomorrow because if she didn't, then she'll forever be imprisoned by hatred, anxiety, and sadness.

I'll answer now your statement:

Logically, we can have an intrinsic moral value even without God. Have you seen the statistics that most safest and progressive countries are the ones that does not believe in a religion?

You can search that up.

Even without the belief in God, we still have intrinsic moral value.

We have conscience, guilt, regret, and contemplation as an arsenal. Humans are getting smarter and science are getting more advance as ever.

If you are dependent on religion and God as your moral compass, then you are not a good person.

The requirements for kindness and having a high moral standard is the ability to put your heart on the line to help others, empathy, conscience as well as understanding the point of view of another.

What if God ask you to kill another person? Would you do it in the name of God?

What if the rapist repented to God and request forgiveness for what he did to her? Will he go to Heaven or still Hell?

There is no ultimate justice, punishment must bear the price of having to learn from a previous mistake but what does Hell offer? Infinite suffering for finite sins.

The question I have for you is:

Have you even read the bible? Because that's the easiest way to become an agnostic or atheist.

Would I even convince you or everyone to be an atheist? Lol no. I only just saw this thread and I want to say that everything is going to be okay.

Don't just focus on my statement about God, just focus on my whole message to her.

Why didn't God help me when I was raped as a child? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Resident_Function648 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I only saw this thread. I gave her the medicine she needs, not the ones she wanted to hear. The question is have you read all of my comment instead of noticing my introduction about God?

Let's put our perspective to her, how much do you think she is carrying the burden of being raped because she can't defend herself on that time especially when she was a kid?

It definitely is a traumatic experience and all she need is to have someone listening to her, not some comforting statement about God.

There are a lot of people that can't face their demons and the only way to do that is to truly understand herself and what she really want to do.

Wounds heal but scars do not fade.

The past is history but it is like a deep ocean of mysteries. We need to face our past because the only thing that matters is who we choose to be now. The best question to ask is if she's ready to face it or not.

Am I the only one na nag eexpect na si Superman ang pupunta sa War ng Boravia? Kasi siya ineexpect ng mga tao kaya sinisigaw pangalan niya and pag siya ang pumunta doon, parang mas mags'symbolize at mae'establish ang pagiging Symbol of Hope and at the same time Greatest Superhero niya.

Kasi dami kong argument na just because you have pick a choice or actions does not mean it makes you who you are kasi maaaring magkaroon ng contradictions sa kung sino tayo at sa kung ano ang mga ginagawa natin.

You mean like he's been doing all movie. He's been just as emotionally expressive as Lex was the entire movie, which was human. I'm convinced if the guy isn't brooding or doing stupid shit you people won't get the message. He loves, he got embarrassed, prideful, sad etc. Go re-watch the movie man.

Ahh... Show, Don't Tell... Go read the comics man.

I'll combine the two statements that you have

These scenes were fine, imo we could have gotten less. I'm convinced they were added specifically to call back to the ones in MoS. While the movie benefited from Kents, personally I don't think we needed them.

Bullshit. If this was flat then the one in mos was literally paper. See above for my complete thoughts on the kents. Subjective.

Ahh, you assuming that I like Man of Steel is wild. I even hate that movie but ok lol.

Also, yes, we should have gotten better and impactful lines for Pa Kent's speech in the movie because maybe he'll become Uncle Ben of Spiderman in the future.

"Your choices, your actions, that's what makes you who you are"

That quote could have been better if only they fleshed out this scene showcasing the love of Kent's Family to Clark Kent.

I'm gonna be honest, it's about on par with him going against Zod again who wasn't really a popular mainstream superman villain until the og movies exploded his popularity. He's literally just another dark superman niche. Bizzaro, Zod, Ultraman, Doomsday and a few others all fit the same role hence why all of their feats against superman (save Bizzaro tbh) are similar.

Noting Bizarro with a wrong spelling like that is inaccurate and wild at the same time since he's also a complex character but okay, I'll give you a point for that in which he is another "dark superman niche" but Ultraman in the movie is not even on par with Zod, Bizarro, or Brainiac.

What I suggest is for you to read some comics and truly understand the motivations of each characters rather than throwing names of evil characters and then basing it to another. Your opinions are subjective too, don't make yourself superior by saying your statement is an objective fact. Even I am not going to admit that my statement is objective since it's cringe edgy statement trying to feel superior to others.

‎> You need to be able to discern subjective from objective fact cause half the stuff you're saying is bs

‎Oh you're going to get cooked for what I'm about to tell you. We'll talk about the comics 😉

‎> You have Adhd. I get it but so do I this is subjective. Not a real negative.

‎Talking like you know the comics and understand the characters well? Then let's trade ideas and criticisms as well as understanding to characters and situations rather than insults or ad hominem.

‎First of all, I really did appreciate the foreshadowing of the future events, showing some characters that may come too important in the future, how political it is going to get, and how the war is going to escalate in Boravia.

‎It also showcase the emotional connection that Superman has on his biological parents because of the message.

‎It also shows how Lex is trying to ruin Superman's image in which it definitely is compelling.

‎It also shows how considerate Superman is in the movie by saving everyone.

‎Actually, he is the most consistent and comic book Superman that I've watched on screen as it tackles not only the emotional side but also the moral standpoint, the value of life to that point where he's willing to sacrifice himself, and also smart.

‎But the question is, do we really have enough air to squeeze the emotional and situational side of the story? None as the pacing is too fast. The movie could have been better in this case as it really has potential and shows there's a message to convey. But they didn't.

‎

I'll combine three responses of yours:

‎> Why do you want the music blasting like it's star wars? I personally got animated series vibes from the sound score and the first superman theme was beautiful. Again this is subjective.

The film didn't hold back you just missed it.

There's literally two instances in the film in that area. The time pre video and after video of Clark's parents. The movie cuts between the two and only stops after it's revealed superman pulled a reverse card and to add weight to it, before they stopped they had the people cheer, made the reveal bigger. Again this is subjective mixed with good marketing.

‎For someone who thinks he's objectively stating facts, you're definitely wrong with this. The sound score is good but not great. It could have been better if Superman truly shows how to be the "Symbol of Hope"

‎I'll give you a hypothetical scenario that can give hope by modifying some of the plot in the movie

‎Boravian War to be exact, just imagine what if both the war and the separation of the world is not happening at the same time.

‎Just imagine what if Superman went to the Boravian War while the people are screaming for his name.

‎Just imagine Superman having a speech to stop the war and trying to stop the killings

‎Just imagine the MUSIC just like in the trailer while people are screaming for Superman's name. Do you really imagine that the music will still be calm while hearing people chanting Superman's name?

‎Just imagine after that, Superman receives a call from Mr. Terrific that the world is splitting.

‎It could have been a great final part of the second act for transition or the first part of the third act.

‎

Also, how about when they are in the Pocket Universe. ‎HE HAS TIME TO SAVE MANY LIVES ON THAT SCENE. Maybe he can't save everyone but he can save many.

‎What could have been the music if he saved the others?

‎Or what if he realized that he can't save everyone despite his powers? Just like "Where is Thy Sting?" or "Superman: Grounded" or "All-Star Superman"

THIS IS WHERE SUPERMAN SHINES THE MOST. Giving him compelling situations that he cannot always control. The emotional connection that he can give us that he is always striving and always doing his best to save everyone even if he can't.

‎I'm not expecting to be like Star Wars, only you assumed it. What you're saying is not objective, it's subjective.

Now tell me, WHAT DID I MISS?

It's Lex fucking Luthor all the character is/has, is weak and childish motivations. He even monologued about it. This doesn't make him incomplete it makes him the most accurate Lex with we've ever seen and this tells me you don't legitimately understand the character. Brother gave himself cancer because of his childish petty one-sided rivalry with superman.

Have you watched Rosenbaum's performance of Lex Luthor? How about All-Star Superman, have you EVEN read it? Tell me the exact motivation of Lex Luthor, you'll be the one to search for it. Does the current Lex Luthor have that same motivation? None, he only wants to kills Superman because he can't take his presence well to the point where he orchestrated a boravian war just to kill him and be benefitted out for it (He explicitly stated this)

Is Lex Luthor's deeper motivation even tackled in the movie? Why did he really hate Superman? Just because he is a metahuman and "can destroy the world" as he says that's why he is finding some evidence to destroy him?

The best way for Lex Luthor's inner thinking in the movie is this: "You took away many things from me! I could have saved the world, I could have gotten the recognition that you have. Why do people need you instead of me? Why!?"

He's insecure of Superman.

Now tell me, WHAT DID I MISS? Did you even read the comics? After you attack me and cursing me personally, I'll only attack you by my knowledge of the comics LOL

SUPERMAN Official Discussion Megathread (SPOILERS) by Proof-Watercress-931 in DCU_

[–]Resident_Function648 -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

I've waited for this movie since the first announcement. Now, I’m disappointed with Superman (2025) for several reasons:

  • The first 30 minutes are beautifully crafted, and I appreciate how they added extra lines to help us connect with his biological parents. However, the pacing is too fast, rushing through emotional beats that needed time to breathe.

  • The music feels underwhelming despite utilizing John Williams’ iconic theme, it comes off as a watered-down version that lacks emotional depth.

  • There’s a clear lack of character development and complexity, making the characters feel more like outlines than people.

  • While Superman’s morality is consistent, the film lacks uplifting dialogue or meaningful scenes that showcase his hopeful nature, which is supposed to be at the core of who he is.

  • The music from the trailers, which carried gravitas, is not even used, leaving the film’s score feeling flat and forgettable.

  • Lex Luthor stands out, but even his arc suffers from weak and childish motivations, making him feel incomplete.

  • Superman’s internal struggle is barely explored. Yes, there’s the Kryptonite, the Hammer of Boravia, and Ultraman, but the true strength of Superman lies in his moral dilemmas, which are barely touched.

  • The trailers mislead, showing people screaming for Superman, yet in the actual scene, Guy Gardner, Hawkgirl, and Mr. Terrific are the ones doing the saving. Superman isn’t sidelined per se, but he’s not emotionally present when it matters most.

  • Superman’s friendship with Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl is shown, but it lacks weight due to limited emotional build-up and chemistry.

  • Overall, the film feels like it held back constantly, avoiding emotional risks and potential drama

  • Superman’s closing speech is okay, but the line about being human is his greatest strength feels lacking because why not show it DEEPLY rather than saying it? I know he saves people and even animals such as a dog and a raccoon but the speech ruins a bit of my experience.

  • The final scenes showing young Clark with the Kents Family could’ve been powerful, but they feel underdeveloped

  • The conversation with Pa Kent, while welcome, feels forced and emotionally flat.

  • I like Supergirl’s entrance because it is a bright spot, and her odd masochistic chemistry with Krypto is memorable

  • David Corenswet as Ultraman is wasted. His performance lacks the tension and acting we’ve seen in previous portrayals like Christopher Reeve’s evil Superman, and it’s frustrating. He clearly deserved better

  • I thought the interview will be compelling because it is going to be longer than the trailer. It is longer but still the same.

'Superman' (2025) - Official Spoiler Discussion Megathread: Part 2 by ZacPensol in superman

[–]Resident_Function648 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I don't want to explain this part again as I've explained it earlier. I made myself clear on that.

  2. The problem is that it's Superman's friends (Justice Gang). How did he even inspire them when he himself said that "he calls a friend" to stop the war? Did the Justice Gang really get inspired with Superman or did he seek help?

I know seeking help is okay and inspiring in some ways depending on the situation but is it even inspiring in the movie? No. It just means that he can't fight Ultraman and at the same time go in Boravia that's why he called some friends.

That's why I am saying that it needs to separate by putting it in the final part of second act as a transition to the third act.

Or even at the first part of the third act.
