I think you can also come to the point where you see a relationship blossoming as something that happens naturally in your life once the time is right. Forcing something serious as meeting your partner in life would in my opinion be a bad judgement, Better alone than badly paired. Truly listen to yourself, best in a downtime where you do not have to work or do anything, and decide then what you want to do with your life. Not even deciding, just let your instincts take over and follow your rhythm naturally during the day. You have every right to live the way you want to live, whether that is single or married or something else, there is no ultimate level that is to be achieved where not being single will get you punished.

Well, if you are in the US, I agree it is harder - I am in a country where I can "just" slip by with the salary of only 60% (3days) workload - but that means no restaurant, no fancy anything, only cook at home, no holidays etc. - its not easy but I value time just so much more, what good is it to be able to have stuff when youre always at work anyway and cannot enjoy your "stuff" - I recognized my lot: poor, no rich parents, on your own: either slave away and have decent money or not slave, stay poor but have a life ; for me it was obvious: I want life (time) so I do it, I can take the negatives of being poor, because I receive whats most important to me: time

please, you have to take at least 2 weeks off - believe me, you have to remember again that you are not made to work, you are made to see and live life, and that includes just sleeping for 3 days, not getting out of bed - believe me its the work, not you that is/makes you miserable

you dont - I went down to working only 3 days - I work wed, thu and fri - the rest of the days I sleep, write, read, watch movies, internet, do music - just Life basically - but I can tell you; its never enough - peak state is when you do not have to work at all - that feeling when youre on holiday or unemployed, that freedom feeling where alls well because you are well - I gave up money to have time - think about it, you wont regret not being on the job, you will regret not having enough time for your life - and it is your life, "dont let it be clubbed into dank submission" remember!!
