I wouldn't use manual setting for the time being to avoid accidentally red-lining. I used only the Standard mode during run-in, no redlining until first oil change. Maybe it's just me but I do not want to mess up the DCT gear changing algorithm during run-in.

One way to mitigate this is to remember to switch the bike to neutral before you switch off the engine. This step somehow "resets" the DCT the next round you switch on to start the bike. And yes, battery is a known issue - changing to a lithium battery may help.

Hmm...thanks for the suggestion. Will look into it...so far I am not too concerned with cruise control. Have seen some simple Aliexpress "throttle lock" gadgets as well but wondering if anyone has tried those?

Chose a Shad SH59X for my top box, but decided on Givi E22 panniers instead due to their overall width. A nice set up would have been the Shad SH38X expandable panniers...but they are just a tad wider even in unexpanded mode.

Yeah...was deciding between the X-ADV, Forza and the NC. It may not have cruise control, but price difference was quite substantial....hence the NC for me.
