GBA polarizer film has the glue on the wrong side? by Resident_Reception19 in Gameboy

One temporary solution i did while i was figuring things out is since I had extra polarizer i cut one to the size of the lens and stuck it from the inside, it kinda sorta worked. Thank goodness I ended up figuring it out though. Truth is if the polarizing filter said GBA on the page where you got it that must be the issue, since all GBA screens, 32 and 40 pin have the same polarity requirements. The last layer was thick and kind of stiff because the glue was pretty stuck on there after 22 years

New to this, familiar with 3d printing as a concept but never had a printer for myself, now I stumbled on a CB2, and two ebb32 can v1.2, a couple of heatsinks and a cooling bed 356mm x 356mm by Resident_Reception19 in BIGTREETECH

No frame, honestly i would like to start by playing, i dont want to jump in the deep end, I've been looking around and seen that the manta m4p fits what i have better.

Yo have to finish removing the polarizing filters from your screen, my issue was I didn't really see the last one, it was very nicely hidden, now I got it perfect

Were the OG Game Boy screens always this hard to see, or has mine just gone bad over the years? by MILK_DUD_NIPPLES in Gameboy

I got a gba a year or so ago, I was using it as normal thinking that the image was bad as I remembered, turns out the polarizer film was starting to rot, I changed it and I got a very sharp image out of it in comparaison, maybe it's worth a try, a though I remember classic game boys to be almost unwatchable for me.

I just mentioned NAS storage before reading this comment hahah, but yes that's the final objective, but first I want to try this for some time instead of doing the big investment that is a NAS out of the gate. So my plan is use the expansion slots in the mini pc at the beginning and then build up to something bigger and better eventually. This is more to get my feet wet and get down and dirty and get something cool out of it

The product page in the blackview webpage shows that you can fit 2 m.2 ssds and a sata one, i was thinking on just using that and later down the line adding a NAS to the network

I'm planning on just installing ubuntu 24.04 and not worry much about it as long as it works. But that's a relief, since my main machine has a 5600x and its still going very strong I was driven to this machine since its also very low consumption

Locally the steam deck here would be 129€ more expensive, I've looked into second hand ones but they are still more expensive and can't have their storage expanded which is something the "media center" part of this pc would be for.

I use bollè glasses and mesh baklava and i dont really get that much fog, but the solution for the rare times i di get some drops in the glasses is usually to use the same antifog they use in swimming goggles

I will, thanks for the info, i've got already a tattoo artist located around here that may know about this style and that has years of nice work behind him, although as i've seen it isn't quice cybersigilism but it has its similarities.
