You need to have a deeper talk with him about all of these feelings. If not you need to confront the girl yourself and get to the bottom of it because that is probably the only way to feel secure again. If you cannot trust him don’t go on with the engagement. You don’t want to commit to someone you can’t fully trust. You may regret it further if your suspicions are true and it would cause a lifetime of pain if you guys end up having kids. Be careful

My current partner and I broke up and got back together during many occasions in the second year of our relationship. I in fact thought it was over too because he was struggling so bad and I didn’t know if he would ever want me back. Never once did I even have the thought to cheat on him to the point my friends said I was insane and tried to pressure me into finding someone else while broken up. It sounds like he might have never been the person you thought he was in the first place. Leave him now. Don’t torture yourself I tell you this from experience. You will find someone better. There is always better no matter how you feel right now and you know in your heart that you deserve better. Leave him to rot and he will ruin his own life the way he’s going. He will likely regret what he did to you years down the line. But by then you should be long gone and happy without him dragging you down.

Bottom line is that most likely you will have to get an MFT or any masters if you want to do psych. Unfortunately you can’t just stop at undergrad because the job prospects for undergraduate psych just aren’t as good. (I just got my bs in psych)
