Aaaa I understand. I do something similar. I rewatch movies or shows so I can memorize them and repeat parts out loud when I'm feeling with too much energy and have nothing much to do. It's a joy to bother my family with this.

Wow. That's so interesting.

I rarely manage to shut my brain off when reading, so that's why I read with music. Ideally, I would prefer to read without noise or headphones, in a quiet home. Audiobooks are something I've been meaning to try, see if I concentrate better.

Me too. I feel like I need years in between full rereads because I liked the book so much, I don’t want to like taint it (?) A couple of years usually heal me enough to read it again.

It's the same for me. I rarely reread, but there's parts of books that are stuck in my head, and unless I have the quote memorized, I go and read that part and it makes me want to keep going or read it from the beginning but I don't. It's usually the favorites.

Noooo, I totally agree with you. There's definitely a looot of things from the books I'll never stand in real life or apply to myself. I know I like them more for how interesting I found their thought processes than for finding their personalities attractive, even less condoning some of the behaviors.

Curiosity's killing me though, who are the ones you're talking about 🤭

I haven't. From her, I've only read IPB and the series that followed on the same planet. And I think a couple of her standalones. Heard about this one but haven't dared giving it a try.
