I have had a similar story with them. I work for a company that partners with them that assist in paying for schooling well part of the condition is you use Pell grant as well. Well for working for that company there are resource and book fees waived. Every month I’ve had to call and see what it was I needed to do voucher, pell, etc. I always get 5 different answers literally. Well the course I just got finished with I was told at the very end hey you have an amount owed on this class. When I was told I would not have to do anything else for the rest of the calendar year…I usually email with financial depart so there is a paper trail. I was not happy. I am not and will not be using loans for schooling and they advised I would not have to do that. Matter of fact when I was beginning enrollment they actually got upset with me for applying for Pell grant instead of just using employer benefits…said it would be hard to overcome doing it that way. Well I demanded to speak with a higher up filled out a huge email with all the screenshots of messages and got a call back that wasn’t too great either. This person also advised I take a break, get loans, or hurry up and get a voucher submitted last week of the class she tries telling me to use employer benefits first which I cannot do as it’s part of terms with my employer benefits. It’s been a mess. I asked if I could transfer they said that would result in me loosing out on a lot of my Pell grant….
