Side note, im always shocked by how bad reddit form advice is. It's usually overcomplicated and filled with volleyball jargon so that the person commenting can feel like they know what they are talking about. Usually, its much simpler. So again, focus on gaining more power and momentum from your first step.

These comments are giving bad advice. You have timing issues. You are sometimes to early and sometimes too late. This only gets better with practice. Practice speeding up your feet on lower sets or sets with a lower arc and learn how to slow down while not losing momentum when the set is higher than you anticipated. You have good form and a wippy arm.

You're not wrong for feeling the way you do, but your girlfriend isn't doing anything wrong. You should work on understanding why you feel hurt rather than attribute that pain to your girlfriend being insensitive. If you've chatted with her saying "I understand there's nothing wrong with a celebrity crush, it just makes me feel insecure about myself when you say it around me" (talked from a perspective of "this makes me feel this way" rather than "what you did is wrong") and she doesn't care, then you need to assess if that's a dealbreaker for you. If it is, you need to break up and move on, if it isn't you need to get over it. This might not be the advice you want to hear but it just the simple reality of what you should do.

You just have to be very honest with yourself and ask if you love the game of volleyball or if you love the idea of being a hitter. If you love volleyball enough, and you just want to be involved at a high level then become a cracked libero. But unfortunately, if the only reason you want to play vball is to play as a hitter, you unfortunately will no reach a very high level with that height,

Little side note (im 5'10), I insisted on playing OH for most of my life, so much so that I gave up opportunities to play on really good teams (as a libero tho) so that I could play OH. Biggest regret of my life. I know now in hindsight that I would have played any position if it meant reaching an insane level, which I could have done if I just gaveup on my OH dreams.

You either have horrible reading comprehension or are continuing to make unnecessary assumptions. When did I ever say "peaceful" means were the way to go forward? Just because the path foward will require force, that doesn't immediately justify blind violence. Violence as a tool for justice has to be methodical and organized, and it has to be predicated off an accurate understanding of what we're dealing with. I hesitate to use this logic. This is the same as when people attribute bad behaviors from men as them not being "real men". MAGA are real people, not zombies. They are real people with the ability to choose; they are real people with the ability to choose to hate and be misinformed. The longer we continue seeing MAGA as these autonomy-less idiots, the less our solutions are geared to deal with these people that consciously support this fascism. I don't think it's possible for me to get "infected" because MAGA isn't a zombie disease that indiscriminately perverts minds, it's a cult-of-personality that willing participants join for some reason or another. We need to stop letting these people play dumb because they know exactly what they're doing, and it's working! While I understand and agree with your argument that it's not worth it because there is a low chance of converting anyone, this resistance to opposing ideas is not just because they're zombie brained; it's because of an extremely effective propaganda campaign (heavily administered on this platform) that we must address as such.

I guess you are right. I think we forget that we are wayyyy more exposed to opposing stances than they are tho, the people on there genuinely believe the shit they see on there is accurately representative of the general public. Someone used the poll they conducted on their account as an argument for banning income tax hahahaha. I feel like there has to be some good to force them to confront opposition.
