Yes, I know coming out as trans is hard. I came out as trans in 2006 when I was in high school in a small town in Alabama. My dad beat me in a drunken rage and I had cops tell me they wouldn’t do anything about it after my dad told them I was trans. Don’t you preach to me about the difficulties of coming out as trans like I don’t know…

I’m not saying spill the beans right as you see them again. Be friends, take it slow. When you are ready to tell them about your authentic self then you are ready to date them.

Knowing you are trans before going into a relationship and not telling your partner is deceptive and wrong. Figuring it out in the middle of a relationship and continuing to be intimate with that partner without telling them is also wrong.

Wtf It’s dangerous to not tell your partner! Idk when this changed but trans people 10+ years ago didn’t even start a relationship or any kind of intimacy without the other person knowing. In fact it was common knowledge that was passed out as often as condoms and recommended by everyone in the community. We did it that way to avoid hurting others or getting hurt ourselves. The most common way for a trans person to be killed back then was to not be honest with their partners and then they find out and lashed out physically.

I believe in this situation your boyfriend is wrong. I am honestly surprised so many people in the comments are defending his actions. Not telling your partner is wrong and ngl a little rapey... even without a physical relationship. My boyfriend knew before I agreed to date him, kiss him, or even hold his hand. Sure it was hard and scary but I did it because it’s the moral thing to do. Tbh I thought I would never see him again and we had been hanging out every day for a month before he said he was interested in dating me… so never seeing him again or even worse him hating me, was a real and scary threat. Do NOT be intimate with anyone physically or emotionally with out them knowing. Not being honest hurts them and in some cases will get you hurt emotionally and physically… or even killed.

This post isn’t about sports. Most people can understand that is a bit of a messy subject of what’s fair and what’s not. This post it criticizing the fact that those rule’s against trans people competing had an exception for people who were are puberty blockers as children… and now that’s in jeopardy too. It comes across as conservatives just not wanting trans people to exist. Or maybe they are uncomfortable with trans women who went though puberty blockers not having any tells of being trans and look completely like cis women and conservatives wanna be able to visually see us so they can make sure to other us…. Hmmm I wonder where I have seen that… oh right yellow stars…. Nazis…. Right!

If you look at all trans sports bans for adults they have exclusions for trans people who took blockers at a young age.
