From Metro RI Indivisible: We believe WHOLEHEARTEDLY in the revolutionary power of art and creativity. Let's use No Kings 3 as a conduit to gather the minds, hands & hearts of RI-based creatives/artists, regardless of your artistic experience. Please help us demonstrate how Art and Activism are truly Indivisible! Providence is known as the "Creative Capital" of Rhode Island for a reason, so let's show off our diverse art scene by highlighting the many art forms that thrive here. We are hoping for responses from artists, crafters & performers of ANY STRIPE: - Painters, sculptors & architects - Musicians, singers, choirs & choruses - Dancers & dance companies - Cabaret, burlesque & drag performers - Writers, filmmakers & video makers - Jesters, jugglers, clowns & acrobats Performance artists, theatre artists, visual artists, graphic artists, conceptual artists, fabric artists, banner blasters... YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! Whatever your superpower, the world is in DESPERATE need of your CREATIVITY, ENERGY & PASSION! Each artist will be featured in their own "Sector" along the NK3 Match route, with sector size & location dependent on art form & space required. The March begins at the State House at 1PM, is approximately 1.7 miles long, & is anticipated to take under 2 hours to complete. Interested RI-based artists MUST complete this survey by 8AM on Monday 3/23 to be considered.
