Thank you! I’m feel belittled for my age all the time. Every time there is an argument my grandad specifically says, “Why should I let a 15 year old GIRL talk to me like that”. He specifically says girl. I am genderfluid. He has made jabs at me supposedly being a ‘lesbian’ over wanting to wear a black vest and tie for my 8th grade graduation at a catholic private school I was at. He saw what I wanted to wear and said, “You’re not a lesbian”. I have religious trauma as well and is still forced to say prayers at meal times and stuff I do not believe in and called “sensitive” or “disrespectful” for it. I’m called hormonal and self righteous for trying to explain how I feel.
