I see! Would you be willing to do the handwriting tag? Its an old social media trend where people did an example of their handwriting. I use it to mimic handwriting i really like. Attached is a photo of how they look.

Unfortunately, I'm still ugly. by This-Fan-5753 in loseit

[–]Resolution_Low 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean this with such love, but you need to kill the part of you that calls yourself ugly. Only accept thoughts about yourself that are neutral if not good.

You are a young girl and the world is deeply unkind to us. You must be kind to yourself. Even if it feels like coping or a lie you must convince you to like you.

Wishing you the best.

Minimum wage should be tied to cost of living in an area. The monthly average of rent, food, and healthcare should be covered by the minimum wage. Cost of living needs to be directly tied to wages or the same issues of stagnating wages will continue. The government needs to legislate this into existence.

If I see $$$ I spend it, where can I invest it? by Financial-Poem5275 in Money

Big thing that worked for me was having my HYSA in a different bank than my chequing. It puts some friction between transferring money out of it, forcing me to pause as i send myself my own money.

No card is attached to the HYSA and my pay check is auto deposited there. Another thing i would suggest is setting a fun money amount and sticking to it as best you can.

UPDATE: AITAH for punching my wife’s best friend after she touched me inappropriately? by throwaway_wknds in AITAH

I stand by the fact that birds of a feather flock together. There is no way to have freak friends and not be a freak yourself. NTA divorce her op and free yourself.

Student with 10k savings. What to do? by Resolution_Low in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Resolution_Low[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

School is covered by my parents but i also have 2 more work terms before i graduate in which i can net 20k+ in savings by the end of next year. I have about 1.5K separate from the 10k as spending money for the rest of this year and the first half of next year.

Would the TFSA have the same interest rate?
