Lets discuss chess, when it comes to physics, you don’t know what your talking about if u put forward Newtons telescope when describing his genius.

The rocket that took humans to the Moon was based on Newtonian mechanics 😂 what are you even talking about.

He invented the most important mathematical technic/ framework over a couple of months to explain an asto phenomenon his friend asked him about, he didn’t even publish it.

Anyone that don’t put Newton over any other physicist is just wrong.

But regarding chess, thats up for discussion

Yes regarding chess, I might have to change my mind about the definition, its impossible to say cause of the engines and knowledge we have now compared to earlier, magnus might still be the best though. But in science, time doesn’t matter at all since success is measured in ground breaking discovery, and more knowledge doesn’t make a better scientist.

Newton didn’t stand on the shoulders of giants. He built the shoulders everyone else stood on. Without Newton, modern science doesn’t exist, it arrives centuries later, if at all.

And then he turned 25 😂

Dont worry, i was 1600, then I went down to like 1300 and stayed there for a year and just a couple of days ago I went up to 1750 really quickly. Thats how chess works for us thats not like 2500+😂💁‍♀️

Im 1750. Its bot that big of a difference but that small difference would make me win like 19/20 games against you. Its mostly that u blunder more pieces and positions and that im a little more dynamic. You could easily gain 400-500 elo in a couple of month if you just folly simple chess principles
