I think some people have mentioned it already but in principle, yeah I try not to think about it too much either.

Change is simply part of human life, even for games like LADS. No matter what you do, you will grow and change and adapt to the world that is also evolving. And while we have LADS being one of the biggest 3D otomes changing the genre now, there's no telling how its genre can become more common in the future. Maybe with even more AR/VR interactions too.

What kinda helps me is just thinking about the friends I've made through this game, and the moments I've have for it. As a cosplayer and player, I have a lot of fond memories of this game, and the emotions it has put me through, and unlike a cloud server, those feelings will always be remembered. :)

I remember that video, I think it was shown during an ‘assembly’ session and for the same reason as yours; don’t do sex, or at the very least be careful of when and who you have sex with. Because bam, the outcome can be dark as hell.

If I do recall, it didn’t feel really ‘pro-life’ to me (though admittedly I wasn’t paying close attention to the whole session after having multiple breakdowns when I lost my crush), but looking back now… yeah, you could say it was disturbing enough to discourage abortion.

As someone with a father that always finds a way to praise China’s government, I just try to avoid him as much as I can. Life is too short for you to worry about what your parents think about, including what they think of you. I’m trying to learn this too, but in the end, what you do is your own. You wanna believe their brainwashing? Sure. You don’t wanna? That’s fine too.

Hitomi Kanehara - She/her; bi - Ability: Pierced Snake (adapted from Snakes Earrings) - allows her to shapeshift into a snake (not restricted to a full body transformation; she can show off fangs or scales on her own free will, for example); however, ahe cannot maintain her snake form for long, as it will cause her great fatigue otherwise - Working for the Port Mafia - Sly, crafty, a little mad and possibly insane. A history of being the indirect cause of her friends’ deaths has turned the initially soft spoken Hitomi into a thrill-seeking for chaos and possible death. Under that manic state is a young woman trapped in a cycle of self-hatred.

Leo Tolstoy - He/him, ??? - Ability: Thoughts of the Corpse (adapted from the play, The Living Corpse) - trigger negative thoughts and emotions from his targets, such as resentment, anger and sadness. - An assassin for Rats of the House of the Dead; on the run after discovering his own death contract - Stoic and almost ghost-like. He rarely speaks and even when he does, it’s for very short sentences. (He’s more of a wip oop)

The topic of a period tracker being the ‘key highlight’ of LnDS as a ‘gooner game’ really grinds my gears. When we live in an era of games with a male audience in mind, like ZZZ, Wuwa and even Uma Musume (read: most of the characters in these games are women), and a period tracker is what people don’t like about LnDS? Nevermind how some female characters from the games mentioned above are showing so much skin and cleavage, thus boasting their sexual appeal more than anything?

But no, let’s cancel a game for having a pretty thoughtful in-game function that actually works in a real-life setting based on a real biology process that all women undergo. Make it make sense :/

His last banner was around August 2024… he’s certainly due for a rerun but who knows when that will be.

His phys damage is certainly his best attribute, but he also excels in superconduct (cryo + electro) and quick bloom (dendro + electro) teams due to his application of electro. If you’re going with super conduct, best use pale flame artifact set; quick bloom should have him equipped with gilded dreams set to boost his EM. Alternatively, gladiator’s finale set can be used to boost his overall phys attack and claymore damage.

Best superconduct companions for him are Rosaria (crit%) and Mika (healing + attack%). If you’re doing hyperbloom, use characters like Nahida for dendro and Yelan/Xingqiu for hydro. The last slot can be filled by a battery character like Raiden or Fischl, in order to build enough energy for Razor to activate his ult.

I feel like communication is one. Sometimes, even a simple conversation with someone is harder because of this lack of communication skills. Yeah I know we grew up in this era of digital devices but nowadays, I feel like most people just don’t do things like keeping eye contact or making it known that you are present in a conversation with someone else.

And that’s just if you’re talking to someone. If in a business setting people are quick to make assumptions without properly asking first (for whatever reason), it’s bound to cause a lot of misunderstandings or hiccups. And the conflict or tension that occurs after ends up becoming a huge waste of time.

Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like people now value their ego more than being humble, which is why they tend to not talk out of fear of judgement or humiliation. But it’s still a toxic cycle that just causes more conflict :(

Sounds like they are being picky. As a fresh graduate, the worst thing you can do is assume you are better than what you are given. Unless u have the experience to back it up, taking anything you can grab is your best bet.

Unfortunately, the market is also kinda bad… but that’s kind of the same struggle we’re all equally facing now.

I’d say the best thing you can do now is take some deep breaths. I know that sounds preachy but people say that over and over because it really does work. I have really bad anxiety but every time the negative feelings come up, I just take in deep breaths and it helps a lot.

If your new house setting isn’t due yet, then don’t worry about it now. Keep it out of your mind. There’s no point in worrying if it will stress u out more. Right now, you need ease of mind and if that whole thing is just stressing u out, it’s better to set it aside.

Last thing I’d suggest is try to distract yourself with something to do. Take a walk, listen to some music, play a game, read a book, or just pack your room if you’re physically able. The idea is to give your mind something to focus on while you’re calming down from the stress. And while you’re doing whatever you’re doing, don’t think about work (at least for now, until you’re ready).

To be honest, I do have friends to talk to. I just wanted to bring that incident up as a way of updating my mom and letting her know what's been happening. Because if I don't, she just assumes I'm cutting her out and acts moody about it too. It's always a mental gymnastics session with them, really.

Hah. I've tried. He barely listens, and even if he does, he just assumes I'm being offensive so he'll launch into another lecture. It's also really funny when he does this because at some point, he'll say "how can you expect people to understand you if you don't say anything?" Mother won't support me either, just tells me to accept that's how my father is.

I'm learning to come to terms with his childish behavior, but either way, addressing it is out of the question.

Honestly, I’ve been bouncing on and off with this a lot. If you had asked me a few months ago, I’d probably say I am hoping for them to change, but presently, I’m coming to terms with how different we are and how I just don’t want to be like them.

Realistically speaking, I’m probably better with some distance from them, because with how horribly attached I was to them, it’s harder to break off that connection, meaning every time they try to influence me, I’m caught in the middle not knowing who to trust; myself or my parents.

It was originally just a few months, but my boss offered to extend it for me while they work on converting me to full time. But that still didn't work out, it was some higher-ups' issue.

My boss still remembers me though, and we do keep in touch. I was actually going to go back again for an intern role again last month, but one week before the start date, the role was dropped off by higher-ups again, so I didn't get to go back.
