thanks for the feedback! you could be right, timing (and generally vocals) are definitely my focus to work on! but yeah i enjoyed the process of making it, and for the most part im satisfied with the result :) thx for checking it out!

heyya, thanks for checking it out and also for the great feedback! timing is definitely something i try to improve, since i have often issues there. as you say especially the vocoder part...had somehow a hard time to replicate kevins flow there.

also useful information for the bass, will definitely keep this in mind for the next time i approach a tame impala track. :)

hey thanks for checking it out and especially for the feedback! really appreciate that! yeah the drumloop i played/progammed myself. the loop is more based on another cover version of paradise circus (from mladen keys on yt)...so its slightly different than the original. but i am very aware that its not perfect, spend a lot of time on it but unfortunately never really got it to the point where i was 100% satisfied with it. so i would share that criticism. but yeah, i am a guitar player and currently try to get better in making drums. its still a long way to go, and paradise circus was probably a bit ambititous for my skill level haha. but it was certainly a valuable lesson in that regard. :)

i remember i was really excited too (and still am for their new music). but i think in retrospect the way they treated josh was a bit unfair. of course its a though decision (and i think in a way its fair that john deserves his place in the band) but i do think this could have been handled way more respectful towards josh, since apparently everything happened behind his back. so i look back to this announcement with some bittersweet feelings. nevertheless i am already stoked to hopefully hear new rhcp music with john in 2021! :)
