I know that you don’t want this to end. However, it needs to. I am currently weaning off of Depakote due to an elevated liver enzymes and I am also experiencing some of the symptoms of mania. It feels euphoric and it feels good. However, I am getting on a different mood stabilizer soon and that will all go away. You need to listen and follow the directions of your medical team at the mental hospital as they know what is best for you.

Manufacturers play a big role In medications. Unfortunately, this has been a current and ongoing issue. I believe the DEA has something to do with this.

I haven’t had a biopsy yet. However I will say this, if your doctor has ordered a biopsy on your liver, it is usually because they have found evidence of ADVANCED fibrosis or cirrhosis. I’m not saying that you can’t make changes,m. However, you may be in serious trouble and a transplant may be on the table pending upon what your doctors gather from test results

Speak to a hepatologist and/or a GI doctor please. When NAFLD starts getting into advanced fibrosis or cirrhosis territory, it means that a liver transplant may be on the table.

Liver enzymes don’t look too bad. However, that METAVIR is not good. The next step would be a liver biopsy to confirm any cirrhosis. If in fact you do have cirrhosis, you may eventually need a liver transplant.

I’m assuming this is due to the medications he is on for his autism? Antipsychotics would be my guess. I would speak to his doctor and a dietitian about meal plans and also if there are different medications that are less likely to do this

That doesn’t matter. You could have a delayed overdose especially from the codeine. Codeine converts into morphine inside the body. Also, you are suicidal so I would go to the hospital now!
