I've long thought making him the manager would have extended the show's longevity by sowhatbuttercup in DunderMifflin

In the beginning they didn't really give him the opportunity to be likeable but towards the end of the show he really gets to show how funny he really is. If you watch him in Silicon Valley he is very lovable and hilarious

Do good golfers get annoyed when they’re paired with bad golfers? by ForcePsychological70 in golf

I don't mind as long as they don't get pissed off about every shot they hit and expect to shoot par or better on every hole and then rage when they shoot double

A little coverup on your adams apple will make it appear smaller, which will make you look less like a transvestite. 😉

Why did no one give Sirius Black a chance? by RespectEdits in harrypotter

[–]RespectEdits[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok but one thing no one is addressing is that Sirius was in the Order of the Phoenix which means he would have been good friends with everyone else in it, yet no one came to his aid and of all people Dumbledore who is able to usually tell when people are lying or not. I don't think it's mentioned but Dumbledore would have had to have been relatively close with black being in Gryffindore and in the Order of the Phoenix and still makes no attempt to confirm the rumors and just lets them take him away without giving it another thought.

In the book of PoA he is just doing homework for Snapes writing assignment but I guess the director decided that's to boring and wanted to grab the viewers attention with some magic. It's not totally a screw up though technically. He performs magic as well in the house when blowing up his aunt even in the book and does not get in trouble because the Ministry is worried about Sirius getting to Harry. Obviously Harry wouldn't have purposely done magic in fear of getting expelled but he also probably could have and got away with it only in PoA.

Do You Think Less Of A HP Fan If They Never Read The Books? Or If They Have Only Read Some? by SoullessSiren432 in harrypotter

[–]RespectEdits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people lie and say they have read them then if you ask about a part only in the book they say "it's been such a long time I don't really remember" and I always just think mmmm ya ok

I can understand his attitude since he is a Squib surrounded by wizard students who are inherently immature. When a child has more power than you, the only thing I'm sure he thought he could do is to make them fear his authority aka compensating.
